Speaking of Captain N, I would really love to see Simon Belmont make it into Smash, he’s the only character who was on that show that isn’t in Smash Bros and he played a big part in Nintendo’s history.
Unfortunately though this is unlikely seeing as Nintendo doesn’t exactly seem to be on particularly great terms with Konami at the moment (cough no MGS5 on Wii-U cough) and Konami currently doesn’t want to have anything to do with Castlevania that doesn’t have Lords of Shadow somewhere in the title (Simon was in the 3DS game though so there’s still some hope).
I think specs posted something similar about Kirby’s ruthlessness particularly when it comes to anyone thinking they’re going to come in and change his way of living. Metaknight thought he was going to roll into Dreamland with an army and a massive flying battery that probably could have easily laid waste to a small country with it’s artillery alone with the intent of taking over and trying to make the citizens get off their ass. Kirby pretty much ripped through his ship piece by piece for it. Not even blasting him point blank with a photon cannon could make Kirby give up.
A Mario Galaxy stage would be sick. You could have zero gravity or be able to walk upside down just like in the game. Getting KOs on a stage like that would be challenging.
I’m a bit of a hypocrite because I’m happy there are no clone characters this time around, they’ve always been a waste of slots, but I’m sad there won’t be any toon link he was easily my favorite SB character. He was the sagat of SB, with his emphasis on zoning via mixing up boomerang, bombs, and arrows and I play sagat in every game he’s in or whoever the equivalent is because I’m lame
Oh well Pit and Mega Man will be my mains, they look like they can zone a bit, especially Mega Man.
The only clone-ish character I would want to see back is Falco and Ganondorf. They honestly feel like mainstays now. It would feel weird to let them go now.
If Ganondorf hopefully makes it back they’ll definitely give him his own unique moveset, him being a clone of Captain Falcon would be a definite no-no for Sakurai this time around considering how one of the main goals Sakurai has in this game is to make every character feel unique. Considering that there’s a very likely chance that the roster of this game won’t be as large as Brawl’s was keeping with this design philosophy will be very important in designing the cast for this game.
Falco I think won’t recieve a complete overhaul unlike Ganondorf, however I do think they’ll give and take away things from him, as well as adjust a lot of his and his moves properties in order to make him feel more unique from Fox, I think Luigi will be receiving the same treatment as well.
yeah there is a unique pool they could use if they wanted to overhaul the character completly for ganondorf, one idea would using forms like pokemon trainer
I would give fox moves from his adventure games using those items and with a staff and give falco his type of fighting style, not much really you can do to wolf unless he gets some form of new power in a future game
