^^its actually a missle, heading towards tom nook’s shop
One supposes this picture of Villager wildly riding a gyroid through his own town, ostensibly aiming for a certain tanuki/raccoon’s store, raises the old question: Does Tom Nook’s shop and behavior cross the line from benign capitalism into exploitative and sinisterly harmful capitalism? Or worse, corporatism enabled by an apathetic civil leadership? Can justice only be found in his victims jumping onto rocket-equipped fire hydrants and crashing into his business? How did this sad state of affairs come to be the norm in a world that presents itself as so cute and innocent? Would the towns of Animal Crossing be better off if Recette of Recettear fame were to open up a shop of her own and introduce competition, thus turning it into some semblance of a free market (presuming aforementioned corporatism didn’t result in immediate crippling laws and taxes being specially applied to her new business)? Could…
…Okay, okay, I’ll be good. No need for torches and pitchforks!
Side topic: Wouldn’t it be neat if you could customize the ‘jersey number’ on Villager’s outfit? Not sure how practical that is to do, but it seems like a fun idea if possible.
I’m guessing the Villager’s alt colours will have different numbers on them.
Or perhaps it’s an air special of his? Since the tree planting thing is obviously ground only, perhaps when he does down-special in the air, it becomes that, a la Luigi Missile.
Just a thought.
It’s unlikely, but it could also be Fair, as I don’t believe we’ve seen that yet. An item seems like the most probably explanation, though.
I hope that boxing ring stage has Punch-Out music selectable.
And if it does, I hope it has this song.

I need some boxing funk.
Nook is like a mafia boss. If any one even thought of giving competion in his territory they should be expecting to find a horse head underneath their bed covers.
Pterodactyl: Hell yes. I knew about Disco Kid’s theme, but did not know about Doc Louis’ and both songs are really, really fun; I kind of expect Jim Kelly (rest in peace) jump out and start kicking Little Mac around while listening to either one. Is there any way to still get access to the Doc Louis fight on Punch-Out Wii if one did not qualify for that year’s Platinum Elite gift on Club Nintendo?
Sonichuman: Ahh, I see. So this tragic situation is more akin to a hybrid of crony capitalism and the hyperinflationary policies that result in any given failed ‘war on’ organized cr-- Red Rick Dias is shot mid-post. Whether this was done by Tom Nook’s assassins to prevent secrets from getting out or by a random person tired of listening to RRD spew pseudo-economic nonsense is anyone’s guess, but everyone generally agrees this was for the best.
After playing Mario and Luigi Dream Team I can safely say they need to put some of the songs from that game into Smash Bros.
Seriously, that game’s soundtrack is absolutely phenomenal.

pic of the day ‘Close-up of the whistle and the Hocotate Freight logo.’
As I look at that Olimar close-up pic, my first reaction is “…Huh. Dude’s wearing some of those old Happ pushbuttons on his space suit for whatever weird reason.”
pic of the day ‘Viridi, Goddess of Nature, is about to obliterate the humans as they battle, driven by greed.’

First look at Pit’s stage in the 3DS version. Looks pretty amazing. Shit man I want Pyyrrhon to show up and just start wrecking shit while being awesome.
Pyyrrhon’s awesomeness…If you haven’t played Kid Icarus yet and you have a 3DS…‘What’s wrong with you?’ Don’t watch the video in the spoiler if you plan to ever play it.
^…I…don’t even know what’s that’s for. Entertaining…but not relevant.
He’s been spamming that link everywhere. Kind of annoying.
Anyway, sweet Kid Icarus stage.
I’m amazed at just how much detail they’re putting into the stages on the 3DS version. Now I suppose the question is…will it run at 60 fps even with 3D on? I hope (and am sure) it will…Tekken 3D was able to do that as well after all.
Namco has it covered I’m sure.
 @ Rocky Rose sighting in the smash thread holy shit For those not awareness a really poor troll in the online Hyper Fighting and HDR community, but he can be kind of funny in some of his videos and claims as the greatest SF2 player ever.
Anyways 3DS stage looks sick, the lighting really fools the eye into thinking 3DS can produce GDLK graphics lol.
