Wow, there has been a lot going on lately. …To varying degrees of excitement, but that’s alright.
On Zelda: This will be a somewhat odd opinion, but I actually wish they’d split Zelda and Shiek into separate characters. Just so there wouldn’t be any excuse of one mode being good as a reason to hold fun stuff back from the other form.
On Dedede: Not a big surprise. Also not a character I play, but I’m glad he’s in because the idea of a heavy with ‘floaty’ tricks is a neat one and it adds something unusual to the roster. While he will need some adjustments to get rid of a few of the more ridiculous things he had in Brawl, the same could be said of several other characters so I have some cautious optimism.
On Balloon Fighter: Awesome! I loved that game! I’m definitely going to main him for sur-- …huh? …Oh, that was a joke pic! Well, phooey on you! Way to crush my hopes, Sakurai and UnSaxon51! I’m just gonna kick this chair into a wall and show myself out.
If Fighter Kirby gets into Smash, we wil lfear the pink marshmellow again, nigga got a DP and a divekick! And as usual the japanese get a head start on dat smash practice:
Shadow Ace stop being retarded. Kirby 3DS and Smash 3DS both have comeptitive multiplayer, the same creator, and even the same character in both games yet you flag it as off topic?
Kirby 3DS is a stress test for Nintendo’s servers because they know they’ll be hammered when Smash drops, also it gives Sakurai some practice to refine his implementation of fighting game mechanics on a handheld. It has 4 player slots, items, and stage hazards all of which isn’t a coincidence. Really smart move by Nintendo, I hope whatever data they get from Kirby 3DS helps them make a better Smash on both systems.
All the D3 hype makes me wonder if chain grabs will be back lol.
…Unless I’m mistaken I’m fairly certain that Kirby Fighters on Kirby Triple Deluxe is not online. Sakurai also isn’t working on Kirby Triple Deluxe but like Syke said…I’m sure he’s gotten plenty familiar with the online infrastructure through Kid Icarus.
All I’m saying is don’t drop the ball on online again. For the sake of Wii U sales please outsource the online component to experienced devs. The money they will make from this game is going to be immense. 1% of total sales will cover the cost.
One would hope that if they need help with the online coding. that they’d ask Namco since they’re helping with game. TTT2 Wii U edition has pretty solid netcode.
