^gaaaaaay
God I hope none of these generic anime people with swords/magic get in. We have Link Marth and Zelda that’s enough of those for me.

Listen here f*ggot, Guy would END you.

in all seriousness, the niggas moveset is crazy.
I’d probably prefer a Tekken character even over any Tales characters. But that is not happening. This is Namco’s perfect opportunity to bring back somebody like Klonoa. Have him and Sonic be rivals with rings
Is this the anime thread?
Orochi Zoolander, re: anime thread: Yes. Here is your ‘waifu’ and katana!
Regarding Ganondorf, by way of Captain Falcon discussion: I’m curious, was anyone particularly happy with Ganondorf being a virtual clone (albeit vastly slower) of Captain Falcon? If not, would there be some way to make him more diverse in Smash while staying true to character, if his cloneness is a problem? This of course assumes he’s even on the roster, but I would be surprised if he does not return.
I was always kind of irked by the idea of “Captain Ganon”. I liked the adjustments they made to him in Brawl (even though he was terribad in that game), but I always wished he was more unique. Frankly, I would have no problem with dropping him from the playable roster, particularly in favor of another Zelda villain. Still have my fingers crossed for Ghirahim.
If we get another loz character it should be CD-I Link or Zelda.
Blindknagg: They could add Morshu as an aspect of resource management for Link! Think about it… if he spams too many bombs, he’d have to collect rupees and then do a Special that calls in Morshu the Merchant, trading them in for more ammo. Same deal for lamp oil if he runs out of that.
This would actually be an interesting game mechanic and in that regard I am half-serious proposing it, but obviously the CD-i atrocities are something Nintendo would probably rather leave ‘forgotten’ (or at least not acknowledged) as best they can.
Now… re: Captain Ganon: Let’s assume they keep him due to that ‘legacy clause’ some of us were playfully nodding to earlier; if you’re in Melee AND Brawl then you’re back for Smash 4, the assumption goes. What could they do to fix him? Because Captain Falcon Minus the Speed just isn’t fun, even if he does have the Sparta Kick. It has been a long time since I played the games Ganondorf is derived from; do they have anything they could give him to make the poor guy interesting?
A sword.
Or, if they went with his concept from Wind Waker, TWO SWORDS.

…
I think I just convinced myself that I want Toon Ganon.
…I think you just sold me on the idea, or some variation of it, too. Good job!
Come to think of it, the only character who’s ever used two blades (not counting a beam sword) is Pit, and that’s not even all the time.
How has that not been a thing yet?
Super gay
If we get another loz character it should be CD-I Link or Zelda.
If any of the CD-i characters get in (which they won’t), there’s only one acceptable character.
They should replace the fullscreen nintendogs puppy with CD-i Ganon’s face (the actual item could be the book that Link sealed him inside of)
“Join me, Sakurai, and I will make your game the grrreatest game of 2014 , or else you will DIE!”
^ The point of Nintendog is to distract players, not make them shit their pants…
Stop talking bad about Ganondorf Q_Q

I love Ganondorfs Move set, But I always believed it belonged to Blood Falcon.
Happy New Year!
Pic of the day. There will be trophies in the 3DS and Wii U games, and each version will boast different types and models. The 3DS trophies will be mainly from handhelds and the Wii U version will feature trophies from the home-console games.
I love Ganondorf (even though he’s complete ass in brawl) but I do agree they need to differentiate him from Falcon much more.
They should let him keep all of his unique attacks (also the Warlock punch… because WARLOCK PUNCH) and change all of his other moves to new attacks unique to him like using his sword (or dual wield swords if he’s Toon Ganondorf, which I would actually prefer as it gives more room for creativity for his moveset) or giving him more magic moves (he is a warlock after all). In particular I’d really like to see his tennis fireball as a move, because that could be a very interesting mechanic and not to mention completely hilarious.
