For the people doubting how Sonic could work in Smach, think about this. Did you ever really imagine seeing the original 12 Smash characters in a fighting game? Who’d have thought Fox and Falcon would step out of their ships and actually fight? Don’t doubt the potential of ANY chracter to fit into this game. Nintendo could make a Tetris block into an awesome smash character if they wanted.

I don’t think anyone is doubting the idea that he can work. I am just doubting the idea that he can bring anything new without seeming odd to the moves he has in the Sonic universe. Though I eventually came up with a decently unique move set with him.

Maybe there should be some Pet Shop-like character that doesn’t have projectiles. I wonder how that would work… Get lead to time-out win? Force it to be impossible to win with time-outs while using that character and it’s fixed. Though there’d probably be some people who would runaway after an advantage in a non-timed match.
Excuse me, but what? How would Sonic (a humanoid hedgehog) be a clone of Jigglypuff (a ballon with arms and legs)? Unless you’re considering that one similar special move (Rollout/Spindash) equals a clone character, which makes no sense.

Sonic is a very fast character and almost twice the height of jiggly, also Sonic doesnt have small limbs like Jiggly. Nor does Sonic sing to put people to sleep.

Pet Shop is a character in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. It’s a bird that can fly wherever it wants. It lands when it gets close to the ground.
Oh, ok then. That kind of character really wouldn’t work in Smash, but it’s an interesting idea. Maybe if there was a limitation, like it can fly anywhere for ten seconds or so before having to land (or die).

The only way that one of the Elite Beat Agents would NOT be in Brawl is if it was the OUENDAN!! squad. And as a playable character, not an assist trophy. If there isn’t either, I’m going to hack SSBB to somehow make them playable. Somehow.
