wow…you know, i remember reading somewhere that mario was 4 ft 6…but man, he’s short
Anyone else think that the Mine might be an even better edge guard? Knock them off, plant it on the edge, and back off, throw out a Nikita Missle… all of this could MORE than make up for his so-far less than mobile moves. Trying to get to the edge could be a total pain in the ass against Snake. In a one-on-one situation, he could be the ultimate character at preventing people from returning to the stage.
He might be really fun to play, actually. I’ll be looknig forward to it.
That was a hoax created by someone on smash boards.
Tone that picture is golden!
i don’t know man, i’m still hynotized by the snakes ass. He’s probably the most exposed out of all the cast and doesn’t leave anything to the imagination. Doesn’t he chaff? or has he put some baby powder in his crack?
anyway, good update to balance the ultimate crap we got out of Piplup. Do we really need to know what pokemon come out of the pokeballs?
what are they gonna do next, go over every single food item that comes out of the party ball?!
ike is getting interrogated by snake:
Snake : "Where’s Marth?"
Ike : mmmmphmmfffmmphmmm
Why do you say that? His specials look pretty good. When you refer to his smashes not looking too good… well even though I agree… there is one thing that proves that a bad up and down smash do not equal a bad character. Remember Marth?
FINALLY! Falcon aside, all the character’s I plan to use for sure have been announced! (The other being Ike).
snake wants some yaoi action with Ike, clearly.
u forgot to say no homo.
Dang! Even so, Sonic was the most requested third-party character on Sakurai’s Brawl Poll, so it’s not too unlikely. Here’s to hope!
Why get Sonic when there are so many other better sega characters to choose from?
Because Sonic is the most recognizable. If you had the choice, who would you put in?
Arle from Puyo Puyo. She could bring a much better moveset to the game than Sonic could. Recently the Puyo series has also been pretty successful on the DS and it has a following in Japan that goes back a decade. Sure not as recognizable as Sonic… but… cooler. It would help Sega establish even more of a base for the series (especially in the US and Europe) and perhaps guarantee Nintendo some more Puyo exclusives.
Interesting choice. I always did like Puyo Pop, but I wouldn’t have thought to add a character from it to a fighting game.
I would love to see captain commando get more exposure. seeing as how he is the “mascot” of capcom, combined with the fact that hes been in the vs series. but if any capcom character was in brawl it would probably be either megaman or viewtiful joe.
whoa, I have to stop all these incredibly unlikely assumptions, Im starting to sound like the posters on gamefaqs
…
sonic is sega’s mascot, there’s no other way of explaining.
Well the only problem would be that most people outside of Japan would look at Arle and wonder why she was picked as she hasn’t been the main character of any of the games released recently outside of america. (It’s been Amitie and that other guy)
If we were going to go with classic sega characters other than the companies flagship character sonic, I’d say that Ristar is probably a better choice. He fits the style of most of the characters pretty well, and more people would probably recognize him than Arle.
Or maybe even Nights, he has an upcoming game as well, though then we may be getting into too many characters who can glide/fly.
Damn, what took so long to finally announce snake? And am I the only one who feels snake is going to be in lower or bottom tier?
No, you’re not.
