Wait so Brawl clearly depicts that there isn’t no pure way of playing the game, further illustrating that competitive SSBM was just another aspect because they gave us the ability to turn off items as well? Wow…

Well, to be fair to Heavenly Sword it’s not the developers fault that it was compared to God of War. People did that on thier own. If you look at the game on it’s own then it is a great game. But compared to GoW yeah it falls short,but even then it’s still a good game. It’s not like the game sucks. It’s a really good game.
That said I don’t think it will be any one title that makes people buy a PS3. I think it will be a combo of Heavenly Sword, Assassin’s Creed, MSG4, and Tekken 6. A few other games too. Actually the Wii doesn’t really have a whole lot going for it besides Brawl and Mario Galaxy. So after those hit I think the Wii will die down. I mean, it really isn’t a good thing that people only buy your system for one or two games. That basically means that for the most part your library sucks. But that’s what’s happening. People buying Wii’s for Brawl and Galaxy for the most part. I wasn’t even going to think about getting a Wii until Brawl came out, but then I got one ahead of time anyway since I figured why the hell not and I had the money.
I think in the long run the PS3 will have the better library overall. It will just take some time.
Also if we look at E3, it’s pretty clear that the PS3 did the best job. Anyone that saw the news coverage will tell you that.

I’m sure the conversation will turn back to smash once we get a decent update on the Dojo. it’s just thos week has been utter crap. (A pokeball pokemon that no one gives two shits about, an AT, a stage we already knew a lot about, and a mode that anyone with half a brain already knew would be included)
If we get a cool new character tomorrow, it will at least balance out. if we get no character this week, it will have been the worst update week yet.

the flower option for “head” is an interesting one. I guess your percentage just rises up slowly during the entire match.

Lol I have a PS3 (For DMC4 and MGS3 even though they are not out yet but Heavenly Sword rules lol) and I’m still on the fence about getting a Wii. Not playing RE Umbrella Chronicles won’t kill me. Don’t care about Mario Galaxy really or any Mario game and I won’t die if I miss another Zelda game. I will die if I miss DMC4 and MGS3 though lol! Yeah DMC4 went 360 but eh if I was rich I could sit around and wait for every game I wanted to come out to purchase any system but I kind of had to strike when I could… didn’t know that DMC4 would announce it was for 360 a month later D’OH! But I’m having fun with my PS3. Ha ha half of my SRK posts come from me posting on my PS3 you’d be suprised. 
Seriously, Brawl needs to bust out online play and there has to be more third party support. If third party turns out to be just Geno, Snake and Sonic and there’s no online play I dunno man I may just stick with a DS, to me after all of this cock teasing that would be a let down. I love ya Pit and I’d get a kick out of downloading Super Castlevania but it’s getting tougher and tougher to support multiplatform…
PS I really don’t care what system anyone buys… Online fanboy system war is kind of silly… Not accusing anyone here of that but still… People act like Sony, Nintendo and 360 are paying them or something… Play what you got / are gonna get and be happy. Screw it, curse PS3 and get a 360 what do I care.
Here’s hoping Brawl delivers but as it stands right now even if I get a Wii it won’t be until Tax Return day, why that’s the same time I got a PS3. :looney:
One rumor I’ve seen places is that all the characters shown so far are characters that will be unlocked when you play initially. Unlockable characters will not be shown, which is the rumor’s reasoning for Snake not appearing yet.
Sounds possible, if Sonic does make it in I’d be very surprised if they show him prior to release.
And oh yeah Brawl updates have been full of yawn for the last few weeks darn it give me a new character already gawd… They can’t show a new character for three straight weeks and then nothing, or can they? I guess they can do what they want man Nintendo really has the internet by the balls…
Though I’d like to turn Link into Shadow Link if possible I would like that. Eh, it’s something I guess…

That kinda exaggerated I only remember 3 days where I was disappointed and that was because they were illustrating how to do normal bs. (Which actually helped to show that the fundamentals of Smash weren’t altered in Brawl)
