Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Wii are very amused

Awesome update, a real one this time. Im so glad there done away with useless stages i hope.

You confuse the heck out of me. First you say that fridays update was bad because it wasn’t a tournament worthy stage. But now this update is awesome, even though it doesn’t show anything that has to do with tournament play what so ever.

Pretty cool update. But for everyone arguing over what stages are tournament worthy already, we really don’t know any of that at all. If you asked a random person if they thought that pokefloats or jungle japes for tournament stages would do think they would say.

And for all we know, the final destination of this game could have random master hands flying everywhere.

The best thing for competetive Brawl right now is to have as many options as possible.

ok guys…Gamestop managers are supposed to be having this meeting in vegas…And ‘SUPPOSEDLY’…Smash will be there playable… (i’m living with a manager of a store so these are words coming out of his mouth)… They should be leaving this month so of course i’m pretty sure he’s probably gonna call me ane tlet me know what the game is all about…that is IF in fact it’s really there. He’ll knows about wave dashing and what not and he’s played ina few tournaments so i can ask him a few questions or any questiong that you guys may have and he might be able to answer them for you but wait on it aight?

This confirms my fears: “Story” mode will not have any dialog.

I guess they will pull it off, but I was kind of hoping to see Mario and Wario having some Quentin Taratino style dialog. Y’know?

The majority of updates have been characters. There are seventeen characters so far revealed, and some have received multiple updates for special moves.

In comparison, nine items have been revealed. Twelve if you count the basic pokeball, basic assist trophy, and the smash ball. Counting specific Assist Trophy characters and Pokeball characters, you can add five and two more respectively. Unless you count individual Final Smash updates as item updates (due to the need for a Smash Ball), then there have been less than 20 item updates so far.

Ten stages, seven music entries, five story mode entries, ten “How to Play” entries (including a Final Smash), and three under Game Modes.

Items have had a fairly small showing so far. Pokeball characters in particular are absent, given the appearance that they were set aside when focus went to Assist Trophies.

i just had a thought about gliding:
i wonder if you can do jump, hold to glide, release, double jump, glide, release
or even better, short jump, glide, attack, release, double jump, glide, attack, release, fast fall, L cancel
i also wonder ( since they say you can tilt during glide to go up and down, which reminds me of how cape flight worked in Super Mario World ) if gliding characters edgeguard game will benefit from footstooling and directional tilt, i.e. you follow someone off with normal jump, glide to them, footstool them into f-air, double jump, glide closer, footstool or d-spike, glide, use the gliding tilt up and down to increase the angle and speed necessary to get back to the edge

Diddy seems like a living pile of randomness. I makes me wonder what they did to Luigi…

I just realized that out of the original 14 in SSBM that all have been confirmed except for 3. C.Fal, IC, and Ness. Was that rumor about IC not being in ever confirmed in anyway?

Jiggs,Ness,luigi and Cap are the only ORIGINAL 4 left to be shown…IC is still in unknown status…nothing has been confirmed until it is up on the site

Pit’s intro is amazing, so does that mean that everyone else has an intro to? that would be cool

Wario’s stage looks to be a replacement of the game and watch stage(R.I.P)

Diddy’s moves are odd…I thought he would be a faster donkey kong, so im guessing clones are cut…move wise…luigi could have a new moveset…just like falco…quote me on this
