At this rate, they can afford to drip-feed as much as they want. The game is scheduled to come out in Japan in a lil more than over a month and some change. By that point, 2ch, as well as those who will import the game for their JP Wiis (like yours truly), will be a more informative source of information than the Smash Dojo. And that will effectively kill Sakurai’s need to keep updating the site. In that light, what’s his hurry?
So, until then, we’re at Sakurai’s mercy. We’ll be lucky if we get the entire starting line-up by after New Year’s.
In any case, I’m still hoping for Ridley, Lucario and maybe Rockman as some more interesting newbies to add the cast. Jody Summers (F-Zero), Zoda (StarTropics or F-Zero version) and Flint (Mother 3) would be nice to see too…

In depth descriptions of characters moves (their damage output, etc) and character properties is more then welcome though (as long as the characters arent secret ones :arazz:)

Not sure if anyone was paying attention, but that was not Sakurai’s msg (the “real men use items”). The original message said something about doing your homework, and the American producer (the one that has been translating the updates) decided to put that instead. It’s obvious that the producer, Nate Bihldorff, provides “filler” updates when Sakurai has nothing important to update. That was just one of the examples, and obviously everyone got bent out of shape over it.
