Personally…I don’t think 35 is the end all be all. Reason I say this is because some of the characters in Melee took nearly forever to unlock that you had to get by either leaving the system on for a number of hours or playing a bajillion vs. matches. These guys are unlocking characters miiiiiighty fast…how long has it been? A day and a half!? I understand that whole ‘1 more character makes the roster make sense’ theory but I da know…I’m gonna hold out for at least a week or 2 and see what happens.
Another thing is the whole midi vs. orchestrated argument again. sigh…Take a gooooood look at last night’s update on the dojo and realize once again that even more songs are going to be opened up. There’s no telling how many songs were made for each stage so I’m willing to bet sakurai made sure to have at least one orchestrated track for each stage in some shape or form ( O.o…orchestrated sonic music?..intriguing…). And I also agree that so far what I’ve heard is raping Melee’s soundtrack right now. Metaknight’s track alone is killin it out there.

Yeah, so far from the ones I’ve heard, I’d have to say the same.
This game will be the reason I finally pick up a Wii. I don’t really plan to play it for tournament purposes or at “high-level” (Not knocking those who do), I’ve just always enjoyed the series with friends. It’s just raw fun. Some can hate on it all they want, but in the end, if it’s fun to play, then it’s definitely worth playing.

Unless there’s some huge, A Bug that is a progression blocker or something is seriously wrong with the mechanics, there’s no way this game could “fail”. Hell, it will probably end up one of the top 3 best selling games on the Wii for the rest of its existence lol.
