kinda feel bad for Princess Peach, i mean…is this what she is ruling over now? Some princess, letting her land go into ruins, while she chills in her castle getting kidnapped from time to time.
The new song is interesting to say the least, stuff from Koji Kondo gets a thumbs up, but the song just isnt something id fight to…
I’m digging these updates. =D The mushroomy kingdom looks tight…both versions and the mario piano mix with the slight tripping on weed is hot. I was wondering when they were gonna post something up from the mario series. I’ve actually been wondering what has yuzo koshiro been doing. I wanna hear what mixes he’s come up with.
Edit:
Most of the songs from this game for me have had the reaction of…‘I gotta fight to this!? O.o!?’ Not in a bad way though…
With some forward thinking it actually works. Every beat can’t be up tempo. And slowing down can’t be bad. And you always have My Music to cut this song from play. It seems like to me a working symbiotic relationship between stage and music. And hell as a stage alone I’d think they were secretly saying “We have another New Super Mario Bros. game in development.” I hope this does not spell bad news for the Mushroom Kingdom stages in Brawl. Those stages are institutions is the Smash series. And I would hate not to see it in Brawl. I was hoping Mario Bros. 3 was gonna get a stage this time around. We’ll see about that though. But Kondo kicked ass on this remix. Don’t know whether to give the nod to Angel Island or this music. I swear I’m leaning toward the latter. Does anybody know when the soundtrack to this game comes out? Having My Music on my stereo system is no longer satisfying at all. Gotta beat this music everywhere I be at.
And Final Destination’s back. My little cousin will love to hear that. It’s his favorite stage.
And whatever it was that this dude was trying to say. The joke was destined to come. Can’t change that.
Check out Brawl Central (www.brawlcentral.com) for more scans. The page Shade has with FD on it is a relative weight chart, it shows around what % you can kill the characters at.
For the record, Bowser, Dedede, Samus, Charizard, Wario and Ike are all high up on the list (meaning hard as eff to KO). Fox is currently the easiest to KO (on the bottom of the list) and Zelda is now heavier than Sheik by a little bit.
There’s also scans on the individual characters and some of their best KO moves (Ike and Dedede have Smash Attacks that can kill in the 40% range…is that charged or uncharged?!). Lucas is actually surprisingly strong as well, he owns the fuck outta Ness in KO power thus far.
No, it just means that if you want to play Fox, you’re going to have to be smart with him now, instead of the more brain-dead way you could play him in DX/Melee.
Now that he’s a feather-weight, he can’t afford to make many mistakes against some one like Bowser, or he’ll just get his ass kicked badly. Especially now that people like Bowser have auto-guard/super armor on their stuff now! This probably will also apply to Sheik too, it seems, as Sheiky seems to be much lighter than Zelda.
Overall, it seems to be the thing that Sakurai is trying to do more to make the weight classes perform how they’re SUPPOSED to. And I like and appreciate that.
And what makes you say that? Going either by the trend of this series, or his own, Fox isn’t exactly known for having that much of constitution that allows him to hang with the heavy weights or middle-class types.
I suppose the best that could be for him though, would be that would at least NOT drop like a friggin stone.
Im already grinning ear to ear. But, heavys are still big guys and can most likely still eat a combo or some goofy new chain throw from teh light weights.[/theory fighter]
