I’m sure the internet will be flooded with Lucario footage within 2 days of Brawl’s release, so I’ll see what I think then.
Ness being back surprised me because of the “no clones” things, but how old is that statement? I’m just going to give up on guessing things about Brawl.
And yeah, Mewtwo with Beam Sword was awesome.

This is so awesome, I was already completely satiated with OG Wario and Blue Falcon being confirmed, and now there’s even more new stuff to await. ^_^!

And yes, Lucario falls under the same Umbrella “design wise” Mewtwo, and the others uber bipedals do (even though he’s not really one, IIRC). He shoots fucking Hadoukens all day on niggas, talks telepathically only, and stands upright on two feet. He runs all over the place like the flash, and he looks cool (IMO). And even though he’s a Fighting/Steel type, the way he attacks screams Psychic.
I don’t even see why you’re so worried over Mewtwo. I like him too (his movie was awesome back in the day), but Sakurai fucked him over with the way he played in Melee. If he DOES somehow make it back in, he needs to be totally reworked. Otherwise, fuck him.
Lucario will definitely be one of the characters I will work hard to unlock to see what he’s about, once I get my game next week. I’m hoping he gets represented well…
Of course, the leaker MarkMan has stated that Sonic is supposedly the one who may take the most effort to unlock. We shall see…
Not really. I mean, he may be the same shape as Mewtwo, but my qualms with his design are that the blue skin w/ black stripes, the different colored midsection, the horns on his hands and chest, and the fact that he’s wearing clothes (are those…shorts?) make him look far more like a character out of the digimon universe than one out of pokemon.

EDIT: Though it would be cool to make him a shoto by having his specials be sky uppercut (shoryuken), aura sphere (hadouken), and blaze kick (hurricane kick)
They do look like shorts, do they? Haha. But yea, he’s not wearing any clothes. Just his design. I mean, he’s not the first Pokemon to appear to be wearing clothes. Anyway, nitpicks about his appearance aside, he was high up their on my list of Pokemon that needed to be in Brawl, so I’m quite satisfied right now.
Hmmmm, I’m betting on one more delay when they announce some more characters.
There are too many good characters. I can’t really stick with a main because almost all of these new characters I like.

Well, now that I got that out of my system, I noticed the rest of you spotted the Ness, Jigglypuff, and Lucario icons for the “characters who can use this sticker” box. Yeah, that does kinda confirm them, doesn’t it? So much for no leaked info, but I’m not really surprised this far along in the game’s development.
I’m definitely glad that Ness is back, but I’ve had a deep feeling he’d be in the game when Sakurai said that Lucas’s normals would be way different from his. Jigglypuff may not have been my favorite character, but she was fun to use and the bigger the roster, the better! As for Lucario, I haven’t been following Pokemon lately, so this one is still new to me. I admit, he does look cool, though!
All that’s left now is for Captain Falcon to be confirmed, whom I’m pretty sure will be in the game, but you’d think they’d have featured his update by now, huh?
^well if u look at the tutorial vid at like 3:44 the Red Alloy does Falcon’s exact, Neutral A, Back Air and KNEE!!! So he god damn better be in it if Jiggy’s fat ass made it back.

Luigi, Jigglypuff, Captain Falcon, and Ness have not yet been announced officially on the site. I really doubt it is a coincidence that it’s the exact same four hidden characters from the first Smash Bros. So what I’m guessing is that they planned on leaving those same four characters unlockable in Brawl and leaving them as the group of hidden characters NOT annoucned formally on the web site. Sakurai did sound like he wanted to try to keep some characters secret.
I wasn’t sure about it before, but considering Ness and Jiggly have been accidentally confirmed and that Falcon’s presence seems confirmed by the Red Guy Thing imitating his jumping knee and the presence of Samurai Goroh as an AT, that makes 3 out of 4 characters which just happened to be hidden in the first game, it seems very likely that this is what was planned, keeping those four characters unannounced.
Which, for all intents and purposes, seems to confirm Luigi is ALSO in the game.

There are so many characters I like more (Olimar, Mario, Ice Climbers, Peach, Wario, Snake, Pokemon Trainer, Sonic, Link, Samus, DeDeDe, Bowser) that I would main first.

If Luigi’s gonna be back, then they damn well better give him his own voice, rather than using more higher pitched samples of Mario’s voice!
