Sakurai, good job on patching up Light Arrow. Slick work. But Zelda didn’t get a movelist update. 10 to 1 says that’s tommorow’s update. So the only person without their final smash explained is Zamus. Gotta be more to it than Smash Ball to Power Suit.
Am I the only one who’s sad at the loss of Mewtwo? I mean sure, he was ass in Melee, and his specials were pure shit, but it was still cool that he could hover around and when he used items they floated in front of him.

EDIT: Also, I was hoping that Zelda & Shiek having the same final smash meant that Shiek’s final smash turned her into Zelda. That woulda been a sweet nerf.

When I saw it, it was one of these tiny little things most people wouldn’t catch, because I was pausing the trailer like…every 5 seconds :wonder: so when I go the Lucas sticker I was like “Wait a minute…WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT NESS?” Sure enough, it was, right by Lucas’ head.
So I went back to the pokemon one, and I zoomed in real close like to find " Oh shit, one of the only new pokemon I know Lucario!!!"
I really think Nintendo did on prupose. One returning favorite and one old one.
Also, yeah I don’t think Mewtwo is coming back. Because if Jigglypufff is here too, that makes pokemon characters. Talk about overkill.
I would have preferred Mewtwo over Jiggs. Jiggy’s normals don’t have the personality that Mewtwo’s did. And besides, Jiggs and Kirby have the exact same body. Still, here’s hoping that Mewtwo just wasn’t unlocked yet in those screens.
I was basing it off the fact that I’ve only seen Light Arrow being performed on the ground. Same with Samus. Oh well, guess I’d have to mix it up with the normals then.
I have no reason to believe Mewtwo is not in Brawl. If you notice all the individual Pokemon characters in the game are main characters in the anime/movies, they’re not randomly plucked out of the pokedex.
Ok so now that he’s confirmed, can someone tell me what the big deal with Lucario is? I’ve never watched the pokemon movie with him in it, but frankly, I think he looks pretty dumb. I mean he design isn’t even very pokemon-esque. He looks more like a digimon creature with the horns in his hands and chest.
Whatever happened to the no-clones we were promised ages ago? If Ness and Lucas are both in, then (unless Ness is getting big changes) they’ll basically be clones of each other.
