Wow the kirby thing is weird, since Olimar’s Neutral-B is pikmin pluck. Maybe in addition to the smash moves and everything, Pikmin also do some AI attacking like Nana? That would make Olimar broken, and kirby olimar even more broken.

I really wish they made Down-B his pluck rather than neutral B, which should be his call.
I do. Down+B is currently the call. Neutral B is pluck. They got it reversed.
And don’t tell me to customize controls, because I can’t be bothered with it if I use more than one character.

As someone who’s going to play this competitively from day 1. I’ll be glad to be able to play some of you dudes online.
Does anyone here play or plan to play smash competitively?
I think it could stand to work out fine as is.
After all, plucking Pikmin should be just as easy as pressing B, so that then your fingers could be oriented to already doing something else as soon as they’re plucked.
Down+B should be something that should only be utilized when it’s absolutely necessary, so it can be set to a more “secondary” motion.
There was a newcomer sign on Wednesday when Olimar was originally announced.

Too many things are coming out for me to play this competitively. SFHD, SFIV, Starcraft 2, new Advance Wars, and Brawl? Great time to be a fighting/strategy fan, but it means I won’t be able to dedicate myself to Brawl. Gonna enjoy the crap out of it though!
I’m going to play a lot of brawl. A hell of a lot. But competatively? In all reality, Brawl is the ultimate casuals game. I don’t need it to be any more than that.

I dunno…especially lately, I think that Soul Calibur is doing more to try and become the ultimate casual game, while Smash is getting more cred in the “serious!” level of play. 
But seriously, I’m not even really concerned about the competitive thing at the moment. I’m just going to enjoy playing this game, really get a feel for it and let the chips fall where they may as far as me really wanting to take it up competitively.
However, if I do decide to take up challengers once the rest of y’all join the party upon the US release…you guys will be among the first to know. 
Competitive or not…I’m gonna go out on a limb that if smash lives up to all the hype behind it…Then it’s easily game of the year material
It’ll probably be good and fun but from what smasher got from e-for-all was a lot of water down game play.
