Damn I knew he had the mine, I just figured it would be proximity based. Not sure which would be better or worse. If you can remote detonate the mine while controlling the Nikita, that would be pretty sweet.
on another note when jan 10th rolls around we only have 23 days left of hype before smash hits. I’m expecting the internet to blow up at least 5 times from Jan 10 to Feb 10. Don’t let me down Sakurai.

Naw, it will be one of those bigass enemies from pikmin that always slaugthered my troops when I left a few of them alone on certain maps. :sad:

What kind of math is that? From Jan 10th to Feb 10th is 31 days. If you’re referring to the Japanese release date of Jan 24th, then that’s only 14 days from Jan 10th.

Not that I know of, but good luck on the pre-order. Just about every Gamestop I went to had pages of pre-orders…PAGES!
It reminds me of when the PS3 was announced and I put a pre-order in and it was about four pages long, then the price was announced and it dropped to half a page lol.

It’s a good thing that I preordered this game back in October.
Oh Roy’s speed. Playing like Roy is a bad thing, but having Roy’s speed isn’t that bad as long as Ike still has his amazing knockback and range.
Not to mention he doesn’t need that rediculous power/range effect for his normals.
yes…it’s first come first serve…and if you guys don’t reserve it good luck having to bow people on your way to grabbing any of the copies we sell to walk ins…take my advice…pre order it before they cut the sku off and you can’t.
I should clarify here. Ike’s moveset is completely different from Roy’s (it hasn’t changed at all), what makes him “play like Roy” is his movement/evasion/attacking speed which is now apparently quite similar, as opposed to the Ganondorf-esque movement and horribly slow attack speed he had previously.
EDIT: Changed the “attack power”, he’s still strong as hell.

Yeah, they weakened him a BIT. He’s no longer Mr. Kill you at 30%, sorry. But he’s still damn strong according to people who played it at the event, has some 35-40% damage attacks… :wow:
EDIT: Looking back at it, Ike’s actually still got amazing power according to the forum. But he did get weakened a bit as the trade-off for the speed buffs.
