indeed…this seems to raise questions yet again as to how they’ll deal with the clones. Ganondorf had better be his own character in this game this time. Be funny if they used this as a way of sneaking in Shadow as a playable skin…but i doubt it…
I like this. This means link could have his oot design,fox could have his classic look, classic sonic, naked snake, dark suit samus, etc.

That said, for purely cosmetic thing, I have to say that I enjoy a lot of the cosmetic things in Brawl when I normally don’t give much of a damn for any game.

Seriously, quite a few people should’ve had this option. Samus could’ve actually had some of her Prime suits instead of recolors, Ike could’ve had his upgraded Lord outfit, Snake could’ve had Naked/Old Snake…but no. Fucking. Wario.

I just noticed that the next issue of EGM will be about Brawl, but I doubt they’ll reveal anything we don’t already know.
The English version of the site says that, but the JP version actually sounds more ambiguous.
For that very same line, it basically states: “However, Wario is a special instance…”, as if to say he’s not necessarily the only one.
And I would hope that would be the case, because, few things would make me happier than to see Claus as an alternate to Lucas (not to be confused with Masked Boy-Lucas, who definitely should be his own character), and CD-style Metal Sonic to double for Sonic (a la how he was in Sonic Adventure DX and Battle).
So, in short, I wouldn’t exactly count it out that they’ll probably have EX Costumes for more characters, and the English translator just missed the mark with Sakurai’s word choice, as is seemingly the case in a number of instances.
…Man, SRK is behind on some things…this was already the source of much scandal since like Saturday. 
Any way…the general consensus is that even with Inafune saying things like he did in that podcast, it may not mean all that much. Inafune may be often associated with Rockman, but he’s not nearly as close to the character as he once was. Horinouchi, who’s actually the series producer now-a-days, would probably be in more of a position to be damning Rock’s possibility in Brawl than “Inafking” is. Also, it’s not like Rockman is distinctly Inafune’s character, in that, he has no rights to him, and thus has no say in what gets done with the character one way or the other.
Furthermore, it’s highly probable that, if Rockman is indeed in, he’s probably already in, whether Inafune was let in on the loop of discussions or not. Wouldn’t be the first time that Capcom did such a thing…
I mean, how many people remember how Mikami profusely promised us all that RE4 would “always be exclusive to the Nintendo GameCube”, only to be undermined when Capcom announced a PS2 port like barely a month later?
And finally, sorry, but White Shadow is full of it. Until we get explicit proof otherwise, there’s no reason to believe that Falcon is out.

O.o…you sure about that? I’ve beeh hearing the next issue of EGM was gonna be Street Fighter 4 crazy since they got exclusives and all and what not.
Sorta sounds like the same thing like hideo kojima and corn meal face (itagaki). Though they can rant and rave all they want about their series and their characters…they work for a company that signs their checks. They have some pull but now all of it. And all this stuff that I’m suddenly hearing has made my ears twitch. Am I missing something? Where did Inafune starts saying stuff about rockman not showing up in brawl? I would like to a link.
As for Falcon…I’m not even worried about him being in the game anymore. There’s NO WAY they wouldn’t put him in. So if he isn’t announced he’s a hidden character. Who else is gonna deliver knees of justice across the stages?
megaman is in brawl. of course inafune wouldn’t say anything and completely deny all details because of a possible NDA. Sorry but, megaman still has a high chance of being in brawl.
This update was terrible. Absolutely horrible.
I can’t wait to see how much WORSE they get near the end of January.
