Well, if that is the case than you may actually be operating at a moderate skill level (I consider myself a novice, for what its worth) and it may actually be hard for you to find equally skilled opponents.
If you got to 5300bp with Sakura and didn’t boost or drop…that is fairly impressive, imho.
should i be trying to find peopel my level in player matches? or ranked?
becuase i do find people better than me in ranked but it’s one game and no more
player is more than one, but i always find the bad people =’(
I think if you are doing More Skilled searches in Player matches and still not finding what you want, you need to take it to the next level.
Next level: Start friending high skilled players here from SRK and send them game invites when you see them online. The “SF4 Mentor / Student” thread is a good source…just grab the gamertags of all the Mentors and add them as friends.

HA! I used to play a pretty good Sagat but he’s boring to main. I moved over to Fei about a month ago and I’ve just recently gotten back to 2500. I now have an uncanny hatred for Guile but I’d love to play u if u’re interested.
Sure man…go ahead and add me, or just hop in a lobby if you see me on line. I also use Chun, mostly for matches where I know Guile has huge disadvantages (Gief and Fuerte are prime examples)…I play her well, but not as well as Guile. I definitely need to get more time in with her.
I had to clear out my friends list…it was getting full and I had to make room for all my new SF4 SRK friends…lol.
I am not that great, as I said, a novice player who understands the mechanics well.
I really need to work on my combos…right now I’m all BnB and very little else…I should pick up and master some more complex, high damage combos for when I get a dizzy or a big punishment opportunity.

i added you guys. i’ve got 77 bp from the single ranked game I played hahaha. i play as chun and have only really been doing matches against people i know, so it’ll be fun to see where my real skill is at vs you guys (especially since guile vs chun is an interesting matchup in the first place)
search player mode with “more skilled” setting and you may find some comp. well not really comp(depending on what is that to you…ima go ahead and assume you are a solid player from srk). I am saying that because I never really ran into anyone outside of srk and thought he was “good” or anything. at least those guys will play you and not pull that “removed from room” gay thing. and most would play you more than 1-2 matchs.

After a frustrating loss all I want to do is get into another game quick to make up for it… 15 “uanble to connects” in a row really makes me want to launch my stick into the wall.

been playing for like a month seriously all sf since 2 casually so add me and i’ll definitely play u and show u what i’ve learned withe ken/ryu cause i’ve strictly focused all my training on them…ususally on for at least 2-3 hrs a night

Sup peeps Ive been trying to find really good players to compete against. The way ranked match is set up it wont find any matches for ‘‘same skill’’ or ‘‘more skill’’.
So ive been forced to look on anyones Flist that is open, and invite random people and hope they are good
