The cowardcopter nerf is cool if they buffed recovery on the teleport a bit.
Walk speed I can deal with if they change the hitbox on the second hit of far s.Hk so it hits crouchers
New comboability for U2 sounds a bit op to me cuz that gives him too many options like ryu but I guess it’s cool with the Fact that he takes damage like an exposed ball sack.
Keep the recovery on his red fireball but give him a command fake one so that when you guess wrong you get punished but when the opponent guesses wrong they do.
Fix demonflip kick so you have to block it up (do i really have to ask for this one? I thought it was common sense)
Man you’re just asking for Akuma to be banned at tournaments lol, if Akuma got these 3 things:
- Tatsu sweep everyone
- 200 stun sweep
- All characters must block both hits of far roundhouse while crouching
I swear I’d settle even for 800 health instead of 850, he’ll be a freaking beast.
Gouken had this in SF4 and they nerfed him in SSFIV, I doubt they’d give it to Akuma, his palm is an ovearhead move so it’s not that bad.

What about a damage cap SRK FADC U2 which caps the damage @ 550? Would that work? A juggleable demon piledriver (think CVS 2) replacing the current demon flip throw would be hella cool if totally broken (think ex df -> piledriver-> SRK FADC U2 for the lulz)
Would it be too much to ask for U2 to be cancellable from normals like U1 as well as making his close S.hk an automatic overhead like 3rd Strike?

I wouldnt say that having no EX held Akuma down in 3s. He had enough tools as is. Giving him EX would make him a monster.
I would settle for:
-Tatsu-sweep on everyone
-ST.HK on everyone
Though the possibility of being able to FADC into U2 is quite intriguing, would make it easier to land for me than U1.
If U2 gains combo-ability…(yeah, I made that up, do somethin’ lol xD), I think it’ll become the standard in tournaments since U1 can be a bitch to land. It’s OK if it gets a slight damage nerf, since easy to land ultras can’t be that powerful.
I think Akuma needs sublime options and mobility. With this said, I main Zangief. I love the thrill of fighting Ryu or Akuma because of their options, it makes me better when I force them into mistakes and chase their ass down. Even as an opponent of them, I think their tools should be good because that’s how they are designed. I wouldn’t ask for a nerf to make my matches easier, not by a long shot (unless we’re talking about something crazy, fucking stupid). Give Akuma his stun/less recovery on teleport and his air escape isn’t too bad.
Both his air tatsu and teleport were get out of jail free cards anyway, so it’s not the end of the world.
Though Capcom is getting on my nerves with nerfs. In order for Super to reach its potential, every character must be brought up to 110%, not every character dropped to 50%. You want every character or most to be solid, this way skill dictates how far you can go with a character.

I’m not sure if people agree, but these are Akumas hardest matchups in Super. Hell, even in Vanilla.

I agree with superlollo, the requests most people are making are insane. The two hundred sweep stun and awesome shaku is all Akuma really needs.
Oh I almost forgot. I always hear and read that Chun is at a disadvantage against Akuma, but I can’t beat her for my life.

I said it because any slight mistake you make with Akuma you can pay heavily for against Balrog. I feel like Balrog is one of the characters in the game that can punish Akuma the worst. He doesn’t need to FADC to ultra, if your in the corner he can just crouch and wait for your teleport or high tatsu and cr.hk or ultra. He can do so much by almost doing nothing. When Balrog is being defensive, its almost as if hes being offensive at the same time. Pretty much the only OS that can get at Balrog is cr.hk after throw or dp, IF he doesn’t have ex.
I play some sick ass rogs in NYC, I really believe this is one of Akumas worst matchups. Do the people agree? If not, can I get some info on this damn matchup?
