Capcom has assured fans that Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix will be released this year.
“We are on the home stretch,” said Rey Jimenez, Capcom suit, on the official Street Fighter blog.
“We’re basically closing out all the bugs that came up in the open beta and a few other open issues… We’re on track to release the game this year and barring any unforeseen catastrophic event, that should not be changing.”
Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, a sultry PS3 and Xbox 360 remake of the classic beat-'em-up, is currently being fire-balled and spin-kicked by hordes of beta testers. Capcom wants all of the multiplayer bugs ironed out before launch.
The only way to join the testing is to buy Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 from Xbox Live.
