Super Quick: Top Doujin Fighters?

Akatsuki Blitzkampf needs GGPO quality netplay :frowning:

Also Ausf.Asche patch

AH FUCK, how i forget Monster? another awesome Doujin game… its somewhat broken, but very technical… and im still waiting for the Arcade release.

And yeah… im always dreaming with a 2DF-like system with emulated and PC games supported, like GGXX#R and all the Doujins in this list.

If Blitzkampf had GGPO netcode I’d play it all day long against the two or three people that care about it.

I play A LOT of Akatsuki, the problem is… that im extremely far from the US (Chile), but here we got a somewhat underground scene and we have made some tourneys. So yeah, the idea of play Akatsuki with the US crew is already in my mind.

There is a hack for the PC version of GGXX#R that allows for netplay. Ingame lobby, ranking, possibility to fully customize your color schemes and as I recall not very laggy. Havn’t used it in a while though.

I tried to use it but mostly everytime i start a game it hangs for like 10 seconds and then returns to the lobby… even with local users (it works 2/30 times).

IaMP also has cowcaster, which is a surprisingly good netplay hack into it. It’s also been translated to english, for what that is worth.

SWR has an internal netplay client that is quite good as well, with spectating.

Neither have lobbies or matchmaking services, though- so you’d have to go to mizuumi.net or look to friends to find competition.

Doujin games are never good.

Sadly, I still play them. :frowning:

lol, at first I thought this was a joke

instructions please

Well, here’s the thread on dustloop I remember using to get it working… Don’t know how up to date it is now:

good, thanks

maybe if I play the game online, I’ll grasp more the basics and see how the game works in high level play.

uhhhhh…uhh…:confused::confused:

Oooops :shake: :shake:

This.

But, best doujin fighters are like EFZ, and IaMP, too bad no one really plays EFZ and IaMP is like gutting your dick out with a baby tooth.

Lol what? Myself included there’s around 6 people in norcal that play somewhat competently (red ic combos, false ic’s). Also off the top of my head there’s about 3 people in socal that do play really competently.

wtf since when did this happen?

Too bad I could care less for the game nowadays.

Blitzkampf is good. :expressionless:

I find doujins to generally be better than commercial games. Especially the likes of GoF, Melty Blood and IaMP. At least certainly more innovative and charming.

Better than boring Streetfighter shit anyway.

LOL GoF and Melty better than commercial games…

Hahahahahahaha

Jesus christ are you dumb? Every post I’ve seen from you is like trying to deciepher some code for stupidity. From trying to say Neco Arc Chaos being a good character in MBAC, to trying to say GoF is like the best next fighter we should put into evo. For everyone’s sake just stop posting.

GoF SHOULD be put into Evo. It’s an excellent game. It forces the player to think fast, is deep and technical, has a balanced roster and has a good mixture of defensive/offensive gameplay. It’s also a lot of fun to watch as the matches can get very close and exciting. If SSBB can get into Evo then I see no reason why GoF can’t.

I feel the same way about you people who can’t see the merit of these games. I also have just as much right to post as anyone else thank you very much, and if you believe I’m wrong, then give me reasonable and unbiassed reasons why.

Because those games SUCK.

GoF is fun, I admit, but anything near serious it’s a wreck.

You don’t even want to get me started on MBAC and how shitty that game is.

Your opinions on them don’t bring anything to the table other than making a fool out of yourself. I play a ton of crap games, and I honestly think Fighter’s History Dynamite should be at Evo (but that’ll never happen) but I don’t go around slamming “commercial” games saying doujin games are better or whatever.
