Didn’t see a Puzzle Fighter topic so I’ll just come out and ask this in a new thread:
What happens when you drop a diamond on the ground (that is, not on top of another gem)?
In the ‘instructions’ it says something “special” will happen if you do this - but when I do it it just says “Tech Bonus” and awards some points. Am I missing some kind of effect here?
That’s all you get, a tech bonus.
Now, there is a glitch in Puzzle Fighter with the diamond you may not know about. (I don’t think this is in HD Remix, but I could be wrong.)
If you get a diamond and have a column that is open but surrounded on both sides, put the piece with the diamond in it in that column and rotate, it will simply flip to having the diamond on the bottom. If you do it right, the diamond will do normal damage instead of having it scaled down.
