Super Mario Maker 2 is upon us this week, and it’s time for a new thread! This will be the place on SRK to post up your levels, to find content from other members, and to share ideas. I will follow a similar format from the SMM thread and keep this first post updated with everyone’s level codes as they are submitted.

If you feel like posting your friend code I’ll keep a list here as well. I encourage everyone to do so to make it easier to follow our Maker Profiles in the game. If/when a new Super Mario Maker Bookmark site is updated, I’ll link everyone’s bookmarks as well.

The first post will contain all the links to friend codes, level codes, and bookmark profiles.
I will keep the second post updated with video content- promotional videos, tutorials, and playthroughs of levels if anyone has recording capabilities and wishes to share.

I’m trying to think up a stage to make and upload on day one but between working so much and getting ready to move, I’m not sure if that’s gonna happen. Regardless, the game is already paid for and of course I am STOKED.

Really thinking about buying a stylus just for this game. Anyone got any recommendations?

This is the one I ordered:

I’ve never used a disc-based stylus before, but I know I’m not too keen on the typical rubbery-tipped styli I’ve used. I’ll let you know how it is.

Updated the second post with a few reviews.

Mostly positive, but GameXplain is more of a comparison to the first Mario Maker on Wii U and feels way more nitpicky than positive.

Happy release day!
Super stoked about that first spoiler @chadouken posted. A personal favorite of mine. :heart: If they add the Bunny Hood from 6 Golden Coins in a later update I will actually lose my godamn mind.

I have no intentions of buying the game but I am super stoked of seeing all the Let’s plays and building process videos people are going to post. The creativity from players with SMM1 was absolutely insane. With so much new shit added in 2 it’s going to get even crazier.

It’s out digitally right now (western hemisphere of the US). The only reason I haven’t bought this and cancelled my pre-order for the physical is because of GCU. Almost tempted to cave in…

I COULD buy it digital but I love my physical games and I’ve already got my physical copy paid off. I’m sooo tempted to click to see what those new power ups are, but I’ll wait until after work tomorrow to find out.

The wait for SMM2 is finally over! With the much, much bigger install base of the Switch, SMM2 is bound to be even more popular than the first game. I’ll have start off with a fairly easy level before moving onto the brutal stuff.
