Ain’t you the guy that always argued that big publishers should budget games accordingly and have a mix of smaller games to go along with the AAA? Let’s be real, Mega Man don’t warrant a Resident Evil budget. Mega Man has never brought in the kind of money Resident Evil, Monster Hunter and Street Fighter do. The type of game Mega Man is isn’t mainstream enough to even consider AAA status for it. In the modern market 2D action platformers flourish on digital market places and handhelds.

It doesn’t need to be AAA to look and play well. Jury’s out on gameplay until we actually get to touch it, but those visuals need just a bit more pop.

Sakurai already showed them how to build and animate MM in 2.5D, so why does it look like a slightly better MN9?

I like the way this man thinks. Oda even made the development team play every Mega Man and Mega Man X game . every X7 and that game was terrible. I remember playing X7 it had awful controls the game just didn’t play right.

the gameplay was just bad. I wouldn’t force X7 on anyone yet alone force them to play it.

They are decreasing ways you can get FM. From what I was reading it was pretty easy to get FM as you could get enough for all the characters just doing a little bit of survival, watching demonstrations that auto-play, trials. They are doing away with that and making it so you have to play the game more, but the amount of FM you get is smaller and you don’t get FM for Survival anymore.

Right now there seems to be a miss translation as Japan is saying you get more money for winning matches online and what not. So they are being taken to task at the major forums.

You won’t get fm from trials, story modes, and survival, but you get some when a character gains a level. So if you did everyone’s story and trials, you would have enough for 2 characters.

To compare, I bought every character in season 1 just from story modes and a few survival wins.

To answer your question, @odin, on the first page Preppy joked about stickying this. I decided to make the joke reality, though I am beginning to rue it given literally half of this thread is just narcissist bickering, which becomes even worse with how little we know about the game right now.
