Battle Network used a few of the X characters. Zero and the Sigma virus was used in Network Transmission IIRC.
As a sequel series StarForce fell flat for me. I thought radiowaves replacing the internet to be too ridiculous to be believable. Changing the grid and switch to first person type camera didn’t do enough to freshen up the Battle Network gameplay.
I haven’t said anything that isn’t obvious to anyone with working eyes… People asked what I thought, and I responded…
…and DESPITE my reservations, I’m willing to wait and see how it plays out… I don’t have any faith left that the Monster Hunter Foundation can make anything good other than Monster Hunter, but it is a new Mega Man.

I’ve got my reservations, and I won’t go back over them since they are clearly posted for all to see… Again, I am hoping and praying that I DO get proven wrong, and they manage to pull off something great, but my expectations are beyond low.
Also, I’ve been playing MM games since I was five years old, and the first game released. Mario and Mega Man were the only video games I knew for the longest time.
