i think Momochi is the better player. the sagat matchup is harder for yun. Ibuki will have probably have a harder time against Yun, too. Iyo didn’t do well in the qualifer, so it makes up in the real tournament.

i agree, i guess it’s because one of those qualifiers wasnt legit so its between them. sbo should compensate the losing team, pay them for their trip home.
Guess it made too much sense to have two Japanese teams duke it out for that one spot.
Since hsien-banana were already qualified, the fair thing to do would have been to make the 2 last chance qualifier (daigo-iyo and and another one) fight for one spot and give hsien banana the second. But hey the 2 last chance are japanese… so let make team us fight another foreign country (kuwait) even if kuwait has nothing to do with sbo mess. Who’s going to say here that there is not racism/xenophobia involved in there? i mean seriously, foreign players who are qualified wasted thousand dollars to go to japan and they dont even appear in the list? when people that live there (so no money spent, at least not as much) are given last chance qual?
