random thoughts: funny how i played my first ever 3s tourny and i got to play andry for the first match. the TV lost it’s signal when we both had only few pixel life left. i walked up in the dark and fierce for the win ( too bad that match didn’t coun).

Having such a big tourney so close to home on a semi-regular basis would be incredible, but I’d also be down to go to tourneys wherever they’re being planned…hopefully some of the good 'ol Bearcade (RIP) cats will be able to come with me next time, none of them could make it yesterday :lol:
Also, thanks to Nima for throwing/running the tourney. It went relatively smoothly, considering the size of the sf4 bracket and also the multitude of games that everyone entered. But yeah, printed brackets would probably help things a little.

Good shit to everyone who showed up, and everyone who helped host. Good times were had, and this is the biggest turnout I have seen at a NorCal tournament in a while! Nima and co. I don’t mind helping in the future, and I have some suggestions for you guys for future tourneys that I will talk to you guys about in person. I say we keep the ball rolling and pump out another tourney in April if possible with evo right around the corner, people are hungry, and need to get hungry so the more the better at least until evo.
Next time I will have a ps3 pcb for my stick. It’s only 360, so I had to borrow a stick last minute, and during my first match I could not go in the down direction so that caused a lot of problems as far as blocking low and doing crouching attacks. LOL
tharimrattler: you better get a cthulhu for your stick. Thats the best option.
