I’m only missing two trials to complete it. One is Sakuras which with practice I think I can pull it off but the other one is El Fuerte’s 23 trial:
Focus Attack
Shower kick ( -> medium kick)
Stand L Kick
Crouch M Kick
H El Fuerte Dynamite
I can’t seem to connect shower kick to a Light Kick and Crouching Medium Kick. I have been practicing but I just can’t seem to get the timiing right. Is there anyone who can give me any tips to complete this trial?
I’m not so much of a newbie but it’s more like I started to take it more seriously. I live in New York and there are a lot of good players here and it made me want to play better. I know the basics obviously since I can do most of the trials but I’m still learning about buffering so if anyone can explain what Shag meant by buffering a backdash I’d appreciate it.
I thought he was meaning something else. Anywho I’ll trying that in the morning but I dont see how that would affect linking a foward mk to a standing lk
Sakura #23: yeah its the 5th or so hit you FADC on. Let her complete the rotation and try cancel on the 3rd hit you’ll get the timing easy enough with a bit of practice. Landed it easy enough. :woot:
Elf #23: Sweet **** I hate this trail lol. I landed it once out of about 20 trys  The light kick link is super tight. Feels tighter than most 1 framers imo. The only advice I can give is if your doing it in the corner back dash from the FA as it gives you a perfect start to try the shower kick to light kick.
Personally I find Im doing:
FA(lv 3) - backdash - hold forward and MK - hold back and light kick - hold downback and MK - double fireball and Mk + HK.
Slight pause between the backdash and the frw+MK but the rest is hella fast.
I seem to have better luck landing the LK when I move the stick on time to back as if I miss the LK timing and Im holding forward he will walk forward and its harder to see if Im being early or late. holding downback when linking the crouching MK stops anychance of another showerkick and its a good place to start the double fireball motion.
Next time, come to the El Fuerte subforum to get your answers. We’ll hook you up. But then again, you only care about trials and not learning the character, so, as quoted by the great hillbillies of South Park:* We don’t like your kind aroun’ hur.*
