Suggestions for arcades and such to visit

I’ll be traveling to Orlando early in December, and after a few days there, we’ll be driving all the way to NYC.

What arcades and video game stores should I be on the look out for?

I’m mostly interested on arcades with USF4, UMvC3, rhythm/music games.
And as for video game stores, I’d prefer if they sold retro games (NES, SNES, etc.)

I’m doing my research but I’m sure not every store has a website.

Thanks in advance!!

Find an Arcade. Go to it because one doesnt exist within a 800 mile radius of it.

MvC3 never had a arcade release.

And the few games you do mention is telling me that the arcade isn’t the place for you.

Go to Dave and Busters

You wont find MvC3 in an Arcade.
USF4 you probably wont either.

Just hit up a dave and Busters like Killafox said.

Chinatown fair in NYC has a stepmania cab, iidx pendual, some version of popn, two rerave cabs, and that one new 5 button rhythm game that’s easy as heck. Also, sf4 cabs.

If you want to drive out, 8 on the break is another place to check out. idk what they have but they’ve been a staple in music games for forever and I think they still have fg tournaments.

I don’t know east coast that well (though apparently more than the three useless replies so far) but nowadays it’s all enthusiasts with arcade cabs in their garage. Don’t know if you’re on sows but that’d be the first place I’d try.

I know UMvC3 never had an arcade release, but many arcades have custom cabinets with it. Like Galloping Ghost Arcade. Just like with USF4.

Thank you very much Sleazoid, that’s the kind of answer I was hoping for. I’ll be sure to check those places out.
