I’ve only been able to come across Japanese players with high stats that boot you from their room, probably to due with the lag, despite me having played against Japanese players and the lag isn’t all that bad.
It’s a great game, honestly, easily one of my favourites, for something that’s based on a non video game franchise Capcom put a surprisingly great amount of care into the game and there’s so much depth to it too.

Do you know if people play it on GGPO?
There are probably a few players, Jojo’s is kind of obscure these days.
Yes, people still play on ggpo but most of the veterans are not around anymore. If you guys are new to the game I’m often in the lobby during the night and I’m more than happy to help new players.
I would suggest you to play there since the netcode is much better.
BTW I would also like to add the most players in the lobby are friendly towards new blood. Well, except for fei but don’t mind him…he is kinda crazy.

Admittedly, I’m pretty bad at this game, but it’s soooo amazing.
It’s crazy just how fast paced the game can get.
Love the game and have the port on Ps3. I mostly use GGPO, but im on it on PSN from time to time.
I plan on getting this for ps3. I have it for my 360, and I still play both online and at locals… Stay tuned…
