8 bazillion reviews and impressions say it’s pretty much soulless style and like watching someone else playing a video game. I think I’m going to pass in favor of Hobo With a Shotgun.

I was looking forward to seeing this, now if I do go out and watch it then I’m prepared to be disappointed.

Really good movie, I think the trailers completely failed to show what it was about. The movie was just about breaking free of restraints in your mind. No matter what people force you to do physically, in your mind, you don’t accept it and you fight against it anyway you can. The very last lines of the movie are great.
I personally feel like the fetishized costumes are more showing how they were being forced into something, but despite what they were forced into, they resisted.
I totally admit, I just went into this movie for the action and some cute girls, but it was really good.
Yeah, like Divine said, just mindless entertainment but with a message. If you go into it hating it (like most do here because thats the cool thing to do) than you’ll hate it. Go see for what it is, hot girls, guns, shit blowing up and a dragon.

That’s what they do here, been that way for years. I can’t explain it and don’t even try, it’ll make your head swell. I like the movie personally, just wish it could have had some more action seen and they should shown us the blonde chick dancing. I want to see how raw it was myself :).

This is like every movie I goto and see for me.
I always walk in thinking “this movie is going to suck” or “omg, why am I going to even bother” and so on.
That way, when the movie does suck, I’m not disappointed!!
