nice pics… I like how your characters interact with one another. Do you read shoujo manga? Very relationship-py stuff (the slap, couples, etc), quite well done too. Minor nitpicks on the proportions of some pics (guy squatting on the wall would be kinda short compared to the girl next to him, the head on the girl being hoisted is a bit big for the rest of her) but it’s darned good stuff. Very nice

I don’t read manga at all… The only manga I ever read was from a Shounen Jump section of One Piece… Hehe…
Actually, when I see some girl body proportions, sometimes it almost looks as if the head is a little big as I imagined it would be compared to the body… Maybe that’s just me

yo seba that last pic is awesome. i really like the interaction between the two characters and the flow in their clothing. but seriously, i think rook may have been onto something. where do you get your inspiration from? most of the pics i see on this site are of two guys rippin’ their heads off or something. i guess its nice to get a change from all that and see something different.

Oh me?.. I get my inspiration everywhere… The two people on a wall ~ I got the idea from a Wal-Mart ad poster in a bus stop… The back2back couple I just posted ~ I remember the Ranma 1/2 picture of the same poses and decided to do my own… The boxers ~ After watching Raging Bull… I just try to challenge myself and think that I can draw a specific scene (even though 75% of the time, don’t turn out the way I thought)… Actually, most of my drawings, I try to apply my own created characters… 
I suck at drawing animals and bg though and am currently practicing…

My new piece im doing. Alex vs yun and yang. This one is more exciting to do because all 3 guys are my fav characters plus their color combos are going to match up really well.

wow sfmc, i like how u plan out ur pics, have u ever done storyboarding? i suck at storyboarding, and kinda not very fond of it either, but some people have mad talent in staging and stuff, u look like one of them but then again ur good at everything u do :bluu:…so jealous… well maybe in art that is:p

I could be wrong, but it looks like you’ve drawn Alex slamming Yun (cap flying off) and Yang’s coming in on the skateboard. Yun is the one with the skateboard, and Yang wears rollerblades.
this comp is cool, but I’ve got this nagging feeling that you could make the powerbomb look absolutely wicked if you chose a worm’s eye perspective.

I like your composition SFMC…I havent put together one in a while, kinda busy with work at the moment…Yun and Yang are excellent- as you can tell by my avatar Im a Snk vs Capcom Kinda guy, and love seeing direct alternate matchups…your sketch has Inspired me again,…i was thinking of doing a Yun/Yang vs the Kim(Kaphwan) BROS thing…

Damn lucky I showed you guys or I would have drawn the skateboard fo the wrong person. Good eye rook. Damn now I have to replace one or the other. The perspective is in worms, but the thing is I want to show the ground cracking. I went through 7 sketches trying to get this down and perspective is crazy hard. Maybe I’ll make the boots larger and show less of the back area.
Hit actually I have done storyboarding for a coffee brand chok full of nuts. Currently trying to get more and get a rep.

@SFMC: When I heard Yun & Yang Vs. Alex I was expecting a more evened up picture like that one Dan Vs. Zangif pic where Dan kicks his face but Zangif has his arms all around him. So you could have had Alex boomerang slapped Yang while he has one foot reaching out, not yet touching his face and with his other arm perrying a kick from Yun… tough I guess you wanted to show a powerbomb…
Then I would draw in an angle where the back of the one being thrown’s head closest to the viewer and try to draw Alex putting lots of weight on him and his knees blotting out to the left and right of the picture and the other brother coming to the rescue on the upper-left corner of the pic… Far behing compared to Alex and the one being smothered.
@hitshiro: About Sol, I wasn’t as expirianced with drawing as I am today when I made him and he’s mostly misproportioned… though not too visibly… I didn’t draw many sketchy planning lines and that…
And Kimiko is also quite old… I had no clue on how to draw breasts right… So they make her body look quite silly… but belive me, her arms are in proportions.
@seba-boi: I really like your line style. And I love those cute faces you give your girls. Have you been watching Love Hina or Mahoromatic or other shojo anime series…?

really? you think naruto is the best anime EVER? that’s like saying Dragonball Z is the best anime ever; it’s pretty good, but not really the “best.” Cowboy Bebop still ranks pretty high on my list.

I understand from reading books on action drawing that pix look more dynamic if you show the action before or after the point of impact… or is that info outdated? I agree that it’s a tough perspective though. I’m comping out a 2 vs 1 fight now and I still can’t get it to my satisfaction yet… hopefully I’ll be done with it by end April…

yes i think naruto is the best ever, but i’m not much of a dragonball fan, cowboy bebop is cool…i’ve never really knew what was so special about it though, it’s a good anime don’t get me wrong, but i personally like naruto better, and a few others
