I don’t usually make excuses when I lose, I just go for a pre-emptive “I haven’t played in a while, you’re gonna destroy me.” If I then lose, I’ve already made an excuse without making it look like I was saying it just because I lost, and if I win it makes me look even better ;D.
I say that when it’s true, but I feel like a jackass making excuses. I really am rusty at like everything, though, I don’t keep up. :lol:
Yesterday I beat some guy online on 3s a few times, and one match I would parry a wakeup shoryuken and throw him when he landed, because it was my best punishment option, or at least what I felt like it was. Anyway, after the match, I guess I had thrown a lot, and he was like “YOU CHEAT. You throw too much.” and I was like “ahahaha, what? You’re one of the people who think throwing’s cheap, right? Meh, alright, you want me to throw less? Fine by me.” so then I beat him a few more rounds only throwing once or twice, and he was like “Okay you’re too good, bye” and left afterwards. :lol: His attitude sounded a little better, because I complied, and still beat him, and I’m surprised he just accepted it and left, rather than bitching. :tup:

I laughed so much when I read this. Something similar happened to me.
In Marvel vs. Capcom for Dreamcast, there was this guy, whenever he was losing, he would restart the game. It was so annoying. And when I beat him, he would continue to restart to erase my win records. When he finally beats me, he would boast about how I got beat. Guess he was shameful of losing to a 14 year old (he was a full grown man).
Another quote I got was “Oh, you’re so cheap!” This is coming from a guy playing Chun-Li with SA2 while I’m playing Twelve.
I say “learn to love it” or “WHEN YOU MESS WITH THE BEST YOU DIE LIKE THE REST” when I win in some street fighter alpha 3. :devil:

I call him…Ludacris, cause he looks like a fucked up version of luda who never fully closes his mouth. He always blames something like on the sticks, or how shit never comes out. So that counts as a “stick and button” complaint.

Another scrub i played today. I beat him down with A-blanka til maybe his last character. During those matches, he did a laugh, sorta like a W/e laugh. Then i let him get me down to A-bison, which was my last char, and had to built meter, so i stayed away til i had enough. I guess he just lost it, hit the taunt button, and walked away. “Poor sportsmanship.” Probably another guy who thought he was “God’s Gift to SF”
I had a friend who was good at Art of Fighting 1. Anyways he was using Robert and was playing against some guy using Ryo. The guy using Ryo would throw the big super fireball (cant think of the name right now) and my friend would nullify it by punching the fireball before it hit him. Everytime my friend did that, the guy would get so angry that he would punch the screen! After my friend cleaned his clock, the guy would challenge him again and continue with punching the screen. After a few games we left before the maniac would completly lose it.
