Stuck in the air

I have a hard time extending my air combos. I’m not sure when to jump cancel a move or what moves to jump cancel after and it usually results in me just falling down after 2 or 3 hits. Does anyone have any advice to extend air combos?

2: DO NOT press your attack and jump at the same time. When you’re in an air combo and u double jump, the jump should come first or else you will get the “up-cancel” glitch

In the game you are only allow a certain amount of hits in the air it usually for for 4 hits. Only way to get all for of you hits is you just do one of the few combos J.AABB J.ABAB J.AABC and the generic one J.ABC that on doesn’t lead to much. Depending on what character you have will depend on if you can do a double jump to a second rep.

I think it’s a little strict to say you get only four hits, and no more in any air combo. Throw in some special moves and some supers and you’ve got a party. I mean, hell, you’ve got characters like Joe the Condor who can deal most of their damage from air combos that last quite a while and reach upward of 69-71 hits or so.

I’m just giving the basic, you don’t want to blow his mind with resets and loops and juggles. Start him off with some easy stuff.
