There isn’t a moment at my job with Hyundai where I wouldn’t see him on Sportcenter during lunchtime. I found it rather funny at times that he’ll be the only one wearing a bow tie than anyone else on TV but he made watching SportCenter interesting…even for me, a person who doesn’t really like to watch anything related to sports. I never watched his speech during the Espys till now and I won’t deny that it hit me hard to see someone say such powerful and meaningful words given his condition. Truly a strong man & father. RIP Stuart Scott for he’ll definitely be missed.
It makes me wonder how sports casting will change in the time to come with his passing.
RIP, he was one of the only Sportscenter achors that I enjoyed listening to, he came across as both an announcer and fan. This is something that you just can’t fake, and I feel like many of the current anchors are just pretending to be sports fans.
But seriously, I stopped watching ESPN when he wasn’t around. TNT’s Inside The NBA probably wouldn’t have transformed the way it did without Stuart breaking that vanilla ceiling. RIP
You’re the one telling people to get a life when you have nothing better to do than say “Well, I don’t know this dead person but I’ll post in here anyway just because I can”.
It’s a freaking forum, it looks like you’ve got nothing better to do either. Why don’t you go do something more productive and, I don’t know, get a life?
