It was cool. I didnt really like songs tho. Makes me wish I had the SOR2 soundtrack.

I think one of the biggest crimes in video game history is Sega of America turning down an Ancient-produced (Team Ancient is Yuzo Koshiro’s private dev house fyi) Streets of Rage 4 on Dreamcast, because the bigwigs thought Sega fans didn’t remember that franchise. Seriously Sega, WHAT THE FUCK. Talk about being completely out of touch with your remaining fanbase.

As good as the SoR 1+2 soundtrack was, I really wanted to play at least one SoR game with CD-quality audio… I posted this before in the Video Thread, but in case anyone missed it… it’s Yuzo playing SoR (and some Actraiser) music in a nightclub… just imagine a proper SoR game sounding this good…

PS. For all you oldskool Genesis fans, I recently heard that Technosoft also had a Thunderforce VI in the works for DC/Naomi… but the company went under before production started… what could have been…

Does Yuzo Koshiro have an album of some sort? I already got the SOR2 soundtrack, but id luv to hear more of his stuff.

I dunno about an album, but he also did the music for Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 2. It’s street racer game like Initial D.

I had a link put up in my first post, but then I remembered the rules about roms and hacks. Seeing as how the mods didn’t get on me about it, I’ll post the link again. I figured it’s okay. There was even a guy that posted a link to a fighter he was programming with Mugen.

More Updates

The beta was taken down because of bandwith issues. This is actually a good sign because the final version is expected to be released next month.

Here are some more updates. They just completed the guns feature (optional) and are tweaking the use of motorcycles.
