If that’s the case, I hope they make it so you roll at the same time that you would quickstand rather than waiting so long. If they just add 8 frames of vulnerability to rolls as they are now they’ll be basically useless.

I don’t want the SF4 knockdown game to be in this one…I actually liked the fact that it was (mostly) gone…

Its a pretty big window, if you guess right, but, it’s actually pretty small if you try to punish on reaction.

I rather see them being punishable(didn’t expect that) than a quickroll that is unpunishable. Also you have alpha counters to deal with pressure aside from your reversals.

Because it’s not safe I expect the feeling of vulnerability to cause a lot more people to try to wakeup uppercut/whathaveyou on roll. Especially if people go nuts trying to chase down rolls they didn’t predict/punish fast enough.

I think Julia’s backdash is worse than rose’s imo… its like she friggin teleports.

I really want to see Asuka’s,Lili’s,Yoshimitsu’s, and changes to Paul. (I forgot a person lol…)

They need to nerf Julia’s screams so I can play the game with the volume at normal.

Some L > M boost chains are really bad as well lol, I was constantly suprised how many times I could it.

@steelguttey bob can do it 2 times I think, could be more but thats all we got out of it. Also king can only do 2 uf4 knees now so maybe its related. It seems they reduced the juggle potential on a lot of silly moves. The same with alpha counters as well since you can’t combo anymore off ACxxswitch cancel. A lot of the game is going to be less dumb combos and more playing the actual game (so less timeouts!)

thats pretty much everything i had the slightest of problems with aside from the music and stages.

Akuma is going to be much better in this version if these changes are for real…

Bob could do it up to maybe 5-7 times but each time after the 3rd got harder because hit stun got reduced.

The patch says that it causes a wallbounce now, so yes :frowning:

I know right, Jin being my actual main. Seeing those buffs made me extremely happy. The sad news is we’ll be seeing a lot of jin players now lol. All that’s missing is Lars.

Exactly. Jin’s always my second character, and he’s become my most used as a result. And tbh Jin is easily in the top 10 most popular characters, you see him online constantly. But with the way these changes are going I doubt he’d become the most used or anything. And yeah I wanna see Lars’ changes asap.

A lot of good buffs for Paul, even if his stand lp is nerfed, i think it’s fair because that stand lp is clearly dumb and broken, that’s the only thing OP about him.

Forward dash’s buff is so good.
