Thanks for the info. It’s nice to know this is a possible mod. Don’t know if it will be worth it for one game. Might just do it for the hell of it. I like to tinker with stuff too.

I will do a review later but for anybody interested I will just add some quick considerations.
I’ve owned like 4 or 5 customs, 2 HRAP3, 1HRAP VX-SA and played in several other joysticks.
The V.S simply doesn’t compare. This stick is the sturdier I’ve ever seen. It doesn’t even seem you’re dealing with plastic because it’s so well built that it is amazing. It is so big that you can play in like public events and leave your cell phone and wallet on the corners of the stick and it won’t affect gameplay. It’s also really, really heavy. It even took me some hours to get used to it after using the VX-SA for more than a year. This stick is something else.
Repeat after me:
Officially licensed joysticks WILL NOT be cross-platform so long as Microsoft and Sony have anything to say about it! Stop asking Mad Catz or Hori to do cross-platform joysticks because they will not do it as long as they have professional relationships with MS and Sony.
Both MS and Sony are in the business of controlling access to their game platforms and will not license hardware that infringes on their patents, copyrights, security, etc. They want to make as much money as they can from licensing. They don’t care if gamers want to save money by buying one joystick for two systems. They won’t support those joysticks. People found that out very quickly after the first few revisions to the PS3 OS.
You’re free to buy unlicensed third-party hardware that works on both platforms but there is no guarantee that a) the build of said hardware is as good as Hori’s or Mad Catz’s; b) the PCB’s will last and even continue to function AFTER MS or Sony do the next OS upgrades on their gaming consoles. There are other issues but those are the big ones people have to be concerned about with unlicensed hardware…
You’re correct about the cross-platform sticks not happening from Hori or Mad Catz, but Sony doesn’t have the sort of explicit blocking of all 3rd party unlicensed hardware that MS has.
Much thanks for sharing where you got that! Looks like a pretty nice setup, and seems (to me anyway) cheaper than finding an arcade cab simply to gut for a 360 to live in.

No imp v2 so i modded it to a dpdt switch
And of course custom astro panel with some dope ass kirby art thanks to SoothSayer.
Stick is still far from done, as soon as I can find the correct kirby font I can move on to the next part.

If you look at the plexi on top of the stick you can see that my daughter got to it with her crayons hahaha. Its all good though because I was using the test plexi anyway.

Damn! I was so trying to not mod my stick, but after that Kirby one it’s hard not to want it.
Well, Kirby stick just made me realize I have to mod my sticks. FML.
I couldn’t figure it out on the stick itself but, is this art like laminated or does it really have a plexi on top of it?
By next week all those interested in dual modding their 360 V.S. fightsticks can easily do this with the new V.S. Kitty mod kit from Toodles… I think his shipment of kitty boards/ wire harness is coming in my tuesday… good stuff for the people wanting to use one stick with both systems… has to be a 360 V.S. fightstick tho…

just got my vs stick in last week its a ps3 version but i want it dual modded. what will work best since there is no kitty board for it yet
360 Fightpad or Brawlpad pcb connected to either a DPDT switch or an IMPv2.

If you are talking about Kuya Joe’s stick and mine, that is art under a slim plexi courtesy of me of course. If you are talking about the stock art then that is actually some type of really really high quality laminated art. I was quite impressed with the quality of that stock art.
