I want a bag… or two.
Indeed.
I’ve got money to burn and I am really digging the look of that stick and the stick bag. When can we expect these to come onto market, MarkMan?
IMO, I love this new stick. The only thing I’d want is for it to be for 360 and PS3 (like the QRAF4 or the paewang pcb) OR for it to sell for $129.99 for a single system. Good job Markman.
The bags were priced a little higher than I had hoped, at least the backpack was. However, I just preordered a backpack. From the pics and the vids I’ve seen of it, the quality looks really good, with more padding and quality than I thought it would have. So I feel (haven’t seen one in person, just pics and vids) that the higher price point on the backpack let them make a nicer product. Just hope it’s as nice as it looks when I receive it, and I hope my TE-S’s fit in there pretty snug since it fits TE-S and the and round 1 and 2’s, and they are a little bigger.
Yo Markman, Do we have to wait until 2012 for one of these?
Thanks
At least you have access to them. I expect the bags to appear in the UK Gameshark store some time in 2015 if we’re lucky.
I would think this is 2012 for sure to go with the SF X Tekken launch.
I would guess the same; it’ll launch during the same week as SFxTekken being that it has the art for the game on it.
Here is the new Tekken Cabs… anyone notice anything??? Makes sense when you see it…

Ah I see…the back of the cabs! OOOOOhhh Well really the whole monitor setup looks like the new sticks!
I was sitting there taking note on how I could clone this cab when I saw the monitor and realized it as well… I kept getting corrected when I was calling the new stick a “TE”… messing with the stick it felt good but I dont know about how well you can customize it since the top panel looks to be all one piece… I didnt get to open it up… the staff around the sticks didnt look too open to modders looking inside the stick… “I was going to put it all back together…”
When I looked underneath the stick, I noticed it was numbered out of 400 and there was a Comic Con sticker.
I spent some time checking these things out at EVO and they seem plenty strong. I would hope that the full plastic casing will bring down the price point a touch. Overall, it felt totally solid… I actually quite liked the feel of it. The only bummer in my eyes is the top art being a decal as opposed to the sturdy metal control panel we’ve all grown to know and love.
James and I went up and poked at it a bit after they shut down the setups. It feels like there are 6 screws under the artwork in the obvious spots, so screwing down some plexi may be an option if you peel off the top. There are 6 screws on bottom for removal of the plate. The cable bay is wider than on the TE, but smaller in other dimensions so they are probably similar capacity-wise. The cords were tied down so we couldn’t try packing in the cable.
The stick felt solid to me. I heard positive and negative comments about the looks; they seemed about as polarized as reactions here on SRK. I’m curious where in the lineup they are positioning it: TE replacement or SE upgrade?
Interesting. So if the back of that cab is indeed the design cue they’re working off, then why keep the Vewlix layout when the Namco cab has the traditional Japanese arch?
No real need to change it; almost everyone is used to the Vewlix-ish layout of the current generation of sticks.
Understandable. I’d just like to see more of a variety in the sticks MadCatz offers. Not just in casing, but in layouts.
Kenneth, I’m in the first picture!
Laugh.
I was waiting for you to post these pictures.
I wanted everyone to know why FightStick PRO is shaped how it is.
Because this Thread got people bashing on the design.
I dont care for the new look.
The sticker on a few of them was peeling up too. Granted I dunno how many people had been playing with them but still… it seemed very cheap to me.
As a SE replacement I can see that… but not for a TE… In its current state I would have to pass on it.
Lol Ken, I just realized that once you posted those pics at TTTOL.
