As far as zip ties are concerned, if you get some that are too long, you can easily clip off the excess with cutters. If you get some that are too short, you can link multiple zip ties together to make a longer one.
I am not an expert on dual modding arcade sticks so I don’t know how this would work out, but I would just use double sided tape to mount the pcb to the surface. It’s probably the easiest, and most convenient method. Keep in mind that if one layer of double sided tape doesn’t provide enough clearance over the standoff, you can just double up, or triple up, the double sided tape to get more height.
Hot glue is an option too, but if you don’t have access to a hot glue gun, double sided tape is your best bet.
Here is a video with some other ideas for mounting.

Also, I would use the foam-like double sided tape as opposed to the double-sided scotch tape, I think it would work far better.
Does anyone know if this stick has enough vertical clearance for a Seimitsu LS-58-01? The shaft on that joystick protrudes more on the bottom than a Sanwa JLF.
What about buttons, will OBSF-RG’s fit without bending the qcd prongs?
This stick is incredibly cramped. I busted it open to pop out the buttons and to peel off the art; I literally had to use 2 thin long flat heads, push the tabs together in, and push out to get the buttons out; on top of that I had to disconnect the wires, which is pretty difficult with that small of a space. Ugh, big hands weren’t made to mod.
I’ve exhausted my Google-Fu. Does anyone have a link to a video of someone taking the SFxT Pro Line artwork off? I already cracked my case open to swap out the plungers for a Neo Geo color setup (for KoFXIII) and to put on a red ball top. I’m going to art mod this thing soon but I can’t find any vids on how to remove the art and put on the tek-innovations plexi and art.
There’s not much to it. Remove the buttons before you decide to remove the artwork. Just grab a flat-head 1.4mm screwdriver and lodge it between the top metal plate and the stock artwork and it peels off at once. Clean off the surface with Goo-Gone and you’re good to add the artwork and plexi.
Anyone have a link to a gallery of SFxT Pro specific artwork? Everything I find is for the TE. I’ve tried to make my own but all the images I try to edit myself end up getting stretched really badly. I suck at Photoshop.
I’ve read conflicting reports about the pc compatibility of the ps3 version. This is something that interests allot of people that want a pc/ps3 compatible stick as the sfxt pro is by far the most affordable option here in Europe. The only people that can reliably answer this are the ps3 version owners themselves.
So if you have the sfxt fightsick pro ps3 version and want to help test PC compatibility, open devices and printers, set your stick to LS mode and plug it in, a new device will pop up in the devices and printers list, it’s your stick. Wait for the drivers (if any) to install and then right click on the stick and select game controller settings. Make sure that your stick is selected on the list and then press properties. Now test your stick. If button presses register but not stick movements, change the stick mode to RS or pad and try again.
Aside from reporting if the stick works or not, it would also be useful to report your windows version and your motherboard chipset (or make and model if you don’t know which chipset it uses).
Thanks in advance!
My SfxT ps3 stick arrived today and it’s PC (and windows 8 in case anyone is wondering) compatible out of the box. It’s also very responsive and lovely to behold. DS3tools doesn’t work with the stick cause it’s not recognized as a ps3 controller.
The bad news is that i now have to relearn how to play SF4, i was so used to a pad that even plinking seems harder with an arcade stick.
Your new PS3 stick compatible with pc is the Mad Catz Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade FightStick PRO Line? or wich version?
Have you tried it on W7?
I’m looking forward for a new fightstick and as you say is by far the most affordable option here in Europe.
Oldish thread but I thought I’d clear this up for people.
I have the Mad Catz Street Fighter X Tekken - Arcade FightStick PRO, the one in the Amazon link quoted a few posts up. Prior to this I had a PS3 TE2 which did not work with my PC, however the SFxT Arcade Fightstick PRO does work right out of the box with my PC. With both my Windows 8 desktop and my Windows 7 laptop, while my old TE worked with neither.
The issue with the older MadCatz PS3 sticks was that they only supported certain USB chipsets that not everyone had, the newer ones are compatible with other USB chipsets.
