i could be wrong, but to me it kinda looks like a mini VLX…with the narrower art space, turbo and stuff on the right and the slope…don’t have the sides though…
MarkMan, can you make it a 6 button and all clear plexi? With seimitsu parts? And make em dual modded OOTB? With a neutrik jack and LED’s pre-installed? And add a button for a handjob? If yes, day 1 purchase.

Looks pretty cool to me. I’m especially interested since TE sticks are actually kind of hard to find again. At least for a good price.

There’s been a lot of crap thrown about the prototype, but not as bad as I’ve come to expect from the internet. If everyone on here were Transformers fans, by now there would be people saying that Madcatz hates the fans, thinks they’re stupid and is actively trying to piss of the adult fans so noone would buy the products other than kids. This community is doing pretty well by comparison.
Personally, I’m interested by the prototype. Don’t know what it will end up like, but I’m glad they are switching things up some. I hope they are staying conscious of the need to have a good entry-level stick on the shelves so we can keep getting new people in, but I’m sure they are, as this helps their bottom-line too.
It looks cheap. I like the idea of something different, but that bright red and the bulky shape just really turn me away and towards the Quanba or the Hori VLX(and I would never spend $300 on a console accessory). I think it should be different, but sleek, streamlined, make a small, yet comfortable, portable stick. I think there is a market for that. I don’t know how to implement it, but I want to see it happen.
Bright red plastic always looks like that, especially in photos. Same goes for other colors. The color is not really as important as the design. If it is ‘the’ new Mad Catz stick there will be other colors.
I meant to snag some shots of the stick from the ReveLAUGHtions stream, but I was kinda busy and only got one. As you can see it isn’t a lot different from the TE in overall size.
Thank you. I was looking for a good size comparison. I Think I could live with it now. It looked much thicker than the TE from some of the pictures. I may just wait and buy one of those then. Looks like a good product. I want one in silver, so I will have to wait to see how that turns out. Good pic by the way. I only really wanted a size comparison.

the more I look at the daigo/clackey pic the more I like the fightstick pro. My customs look like this - the palm bevel. Sleeker but larger in the right places (I need that left palm area). Hoping it’s as heavy or heavier than a te, preferably in the base, as low as possible. so it just wants to “stay”. Again, not really an issue, if lighter = less expensive, I can easily huck a peice/peices of 1" steel plate in there.
