Man, a lot of you guys are complaining about the look of a game that’s most likely close to two years to its release date.
I’m pretty sure Capcom’s gonna, you know, fix things up within that time? And even if Capcom’s version ends up being butt (Doesn’t look like it will so far) there’s always Namco’s version to fall back on.
Take everything you’re getting with a grain of salt and keep and mind that what we saw was slapped together quickly. Even for a fast build, it was pretty nice.
You guys should post gameplay suggestions on Capcom-Unity’s Forums. It’s gonna be a long wait for these games, but don’t wait to make your voices heard.
Im listening to the Tekken podcast avoiding the puddle, and the guys on their were talking about how that the report on Tekken 7 could of been screwed up in the translation process, and it could of just been a “Tekken project” that Namco were working on.
I remember a guy in one of these threads said that a production team can only work on one game at a time.Im guessing Tekken vs Street Fighter is the project they are talking about, instead of T7.
I don’t think we’re talking enough about what most likely will, and will not work in this game in terms of characters, and skills.
I don’t see King (my T6 main) being in this game unless they are gonna make him somewhat like Abel with strike to grapple combos. A couple of command throws wont get it. He’s way too deep for that. On the other hand I can totally see Zangief in Namco’s version with some sick (and no doubt difficult) throw combos.
I don’t see Yoshimitsu in this either. Though a fan favorite, he’s way too slow in nature to be converted into a SF style char.
Kick me in my nuts if Hwoarang is not top tier when this game comes out. I can imagine sickening target combos with him in a SF game.
Jack will be the juggernaut to match Gief, and Hawk.
I expect Jin to have reversals similar to Dudley.
Lei will be twice as technical as Gen, and will be able to switch multiple styles using 3X K/P
i can’t see them not having sf charcater be team up with tekken character. You would think tat there talk more bout sf xtekken at TGS since it be most hyped game there.
I’m just hoping that this game will be geared towards more of a core audience, without all the hand-holding features that are present in SSFIV. SFIV has already established a new generation of fighting game players, many of which have already been playing for over a year. There shouldn’t be a need for gigantic reversal and buffer windows again.
I’m not sure I do, they’re the ones who have to decide which characters don’t make the cut. That’s a difficult job, they can’t just put everyone in. It’d be twice the size of dat Mahvel lol. Someone comin back here no matter what they do on some WTF WHERE IS MY CHARACTER shit.
That article just makes me sad because people around me don’t even know that shit like that is wrong with SF4, they think it’s the best fighting game goin right now. Naturally a lot of them are playing tournaments for the first time, others are just goin with the flow. I’m pretty much the only one that’s stopped playing it completely, which of course leaves me with like, 2 people who are willing to play anything else.
Well you already know they are gong to pull most of the characters from World Warriors and Tekken 3. That’s safest route popularity wise. Honestly hope they pull in a few Third Strike and the newer Tekkens but thats me.
Guys remember that was just a quick demo of a game that’s way off. So I’m sure they took the character models from 4 and whatever they had made of the tekken characters and put something together for comic con. SFiv had a slightly different look in the early stages as welll
