Street Fighter X (Cross) Tekken/Tekken X (Cross) Street Fighter

If I were a mod I would ban people for saying stupid shit like this

LOL @ people who think I didn’t know svc was made by snk. Jesus christ, you fucks assume anything on here lol.

Capcom has tried this shit in the past. cvs2 was made by capcom, svc was made by snk. This formula isn’t new and its turned out bad once already. The only reason cvs2 was actually good was because it was pretty glitchy so the glitches balanced out the game. It wasn’t because capcom programmed the game well.

this whole shit where capcom makes a game then the other company makes a game is just fucking stupid. All crapcom is trying to do is team up with other big fighting game developers in order to pool their scrubs together to make even more money. Which has already been attempted once and failed miserably on one end of this deal. the SvC game was pure trash.

Instead of banking solely on capcom scrubs, capcom can now bank on tekken scrubs and vice versa!!!

get dat monay ono:wasted:

That’s because they were both pretty much the same game except one of them was bad and one of them was good.

Hence the reason that shoultzula is still a moron saying that “only crapcom could make something this bad…” When the capcom version was long at evo, and was the better version…:coffee:

Come on guy, you know that CvS/SvC was a totally different case. SNK was just pulling itself back up from the gutter and had to hurry up and settle it’s old contracts. They didn’t have the time or recourses to make SvC Chaos as awesome as it needed to be. That’s one of the main reasons why it turned out to be a rushed, glitch ridden, jumbled mess. Namco on the other hand is at the moment, a successful company with plenty of money, time and recourses coupled with a reputation for making quality fighting games.

I agree that this venture is fueled by the dollar and not fan demand (unlike Capcom vs SNK) but it should still be very interesting to see. The premier 2D fighting franchise going up against the premier 3D fighting franchise.

It was nice to see them use Kazuya as the main representative of the Tekken franchise rather than Jin.

Long ass article analyzing the video: Analyzing the Street Fighter x Tekken gameplay footage Hyper Combo

Very much so. I hated how Kyo was the main representative of SNK instead Ryo or Terry.

Looks like Capcom finally got it right this time.

Hence the reason that shoultzula is still a MORON to me because Namco is actually a good company with a solid 3D Fighting back round…O.K You guys can go on now…:coffee:

At least in the US version on the cover for the Dreamcast Terry and Ryu were on it. Since people here in the U.S knew Terry better than Kyo back then.

That’s because along with Terry Kyo is the main guy for KoF.

Two words: Get. Hype.

Thank you…

I wonder if the Mishimas’ EWGF and the WGF will have the same Tekken mechanics… i.e. you have the two/three frame window for pushing in the punch.

Geez so you’re opinion is that a game can be good because of it’s glitches? yet is still shit. good troll job

God you’re dumb. SvC was a rushed game to get SNK back on the map (a lot of good that did…), but CvS2 was a very solid game, which means that chances are SxT will be the same. TxS on the other hand I agree will most likely just be Tekken Tag Tournament 2, they’ll probably just reskin Tekken characters as SF ones. At least Tekken characters can fit into a 2D game, so it should turn out good.

And no fucking shit crossovers are a money grab from the developers, that doesn’t mean it isn’t a good game… SF4 was a money grab as well, counting on the franchise’s rep to put Capcom back on the map, and that was a win-win for the company and the consumers. Some people say SF4 is a horrible game/it doesn’t stack up to the other SFs, but a lot of others disagree. And regardless of this, the big names from back in the day have embraced SF4 and continue to be the top players, they enjoy the game. It’s a little too defensive, but outside of that is a very solid game.

Last paragraph was just a ramble to point out that money grab can very well equal a good game.

This is really good, that guy pointed out a lot of shit I never noticed.

Look at MAHvel :looney:

Thanks for the link to the article, Dandy. I concur with nidd. Interesting stuff that totally flew above me.

So how are the team ultras gonna work?

At first I thought it was going to be similar to Rival Schools, where the partner you called in determined the kind of team attack that was done. This could result in things like two characters teaming up for a double fireball attack when one of them doesn’t even have a fireball and other things that are out of character.

However, I don’t see them doing this for this game. When Chun-Li comes out, she clearly does her own signature move and knocks the opponent over to Ryu who does his own signature move. Are they going to animate unique team ups for every possible combination of characters in the game? Doesn’t seem plausible… although it’d be beyond awesome if they did.

Every character will probably have their own signature team move regardless of who they’re playing with. I’m guessing if Chun were with some other character, she’d do the same thing and kick him over so the other character can do theirs. Probably the easiest way to go for them, hope I’m wrong though and it’d be nice to see different versions for everyone.
