Just thinking, with SF4/SSF4 and every character having jp and eng voice actors/actresses, would that mean in Street Fighter x Tekken, the tekken characters who, don’t speak English would have an English voice actor/actress now?
Also on Tekken x Street Fighter, would Namco diversify the SF cast and have them speak languages from their country? Like Zangief speaking Russian as an example?
I would speculate but I suppose they would just use the same voice actors/actresses for both games.

Meh, I doubt it. Citing MvC3 as an example, only characters that have spoken Japanese before can speak it in that game with the option. Aka, no Marvel characters will have Japanese voices. I assume the inverse will happen for Tekken.

The gameplay looked interesting. The fight’s look to be one-on-one with supers that use assist characters if that’s true then I think it would have made more since for Anna to be Kazuya’s assist instead of Nina. Probably no surprise who Dan’s’ll be. I heard there’s also supposed to be a Tekken version of this. Two games for the price of one?
Also I wonder if Mokujin would be like a secret character and it would just random each round, would be funny to see it pull off shoryukens and shungokusatsu on people.
Twelve would be the closest Street Fighter rival for Mokujin, if not I’d like to see Q battle out with him.
anyways back to drinking, getting some good match ups and ideas here.
One of the things that bugs me about this crossover is that characters will be present in both games. How many of you guys would mind if both games divided their huge rosters to the point they don’t use the same characters?

Game looks pretty solid actually. My only complaint is that the tag team ultra animations are soooo long and overly drawn out. It just disrupts the flow of the match in my opinion.

I was thinking the same thing. Those animations were way too long.
The only thing this game needs is a special Zangief/Kuma wrestling intro.

I take back what I had said when the rumors were floating around. From that video alone I’m sold. Kazuya ultra tag team move was awesome fuck what the haters are saying! I’m guessing for all the people that want to wild out you got mvc3 if you want a less insane game go for this vs series. It reminds me of when svc2 came out and mvc2. I had friends that rather play svc2 cause it was less crazy.

I haven’t played Tekken in a…decade plus. But I still remember alot of those moves. I was watching some Tekken from EVO and the game now is so fucking cheesy. But this right here is to good to be true! The perfect debut. PERFECT!!!
I agree^tekken 6 was just an updated version of tekken 5-DR.
People keep talking about character specific matchups.
In the interview with Ono, he pretty much states that both iterations of the game will only include some of the original characters of each franchise. I can’t really speak for Tekken, but I wouldn’t get your hopes up for any characters that were in Street Fighter 3 and above.

So this is the main reason the arcade version of SSF4 is getting new characters. Those “secret” characters should be locks for SFXT. :rock:
