Well I can’t take a screenshot from a PS4 in rest mode now can I?
Finall got my code and downloading now. Its 1.4 gigs. What do I do with the client? I mean the beta is downloading but there was no option to do anything with the client?
I hope the PC Beta goes a bit smoother…

The client is the beta itself.
You won’t be able to get the client to work until Thursday when it’s able to connect to Capcom’s server. Starting it up before then just gets you an error message stating that it’s unable to connect .

Took about 20 mins to download, but you can’t play it until Thursday anyway so I don’t know why people are in such a rush.
On Thursday, would somebody mind trying to play it without PS plus initially just to confirm whether you need it for the beta or not? I have a year subscription already, so I’m guessing I can’t test it.
Yea but after clicking “download all” it started downloading the beta and now the client is nowhere to be found. Where does it go after youve accepted the reeemed codes?

There’s only 2 files. The beta\client and some file labeled “tier 1” which people are suspecting that it represents the current beta phase. But I’m confused as to what you’re asking. If the beta downloaded correctly then STREET FIGHTER V (BETA) should be showing up on your menu like any other game.
I can’t lie. I felt a bit dirty doing the whole preorder then cancel thing with Amazon. SEE WHAT YOU’VE TURNED ME INTO, GAMESTOP? A GOD DAMN LUNATIC.
Yea the beta is on my menu with other games, but I only doenloaded one 1.4 gig file. The beta not this tier one thing. Tje only file it gave an option to download was the beta itself. I did see the tier one thing in the list but upon clicking download all, all that downloaded was STREET FIGHTER V BETA
Go to your download list, see if it’s there and download it from there.
See if whats there? Do I need to download more than just the beta? So damn confusing. I go the ps store and go to street fighter beta and the only option is play. My download list just has the beta file. The client thing I saw when I redeemed the codes is gone. How do they expect people who have no experience with betas and stuff to know about all this shit?

I got mine via Amazon US (live in Switzerland). No chance I’m joining a lottery.
I haven’t heard anything from the EU side so I’ve just done a preorder via Amazon USA too, I assume the code will need to be activated via my US PSN account, hopefully it’ll be playable via my EU one with PS+.
I intend to Cancel as soon as the code comes through. How long did yours take to come through?
Did you put a random US address ? Otherwise it won’t work. I had mine in 5 minutes 
Yeah I put down the address of a US proxy company I’ve used in the past to get things mailed to the UK via Amazon that usually refuse to ship to the UK, it was about 30 mins ago, hopefully it’ll appear soon. Thanks!
