I got way too many double Ps when I played, 6 games at the least. People just didn’t know when to stop pressing jab against me or just couldn’t tech. I’ll start being bodied once people actually adjust. When does the beta go up for the UK, midnight?

You and me both man. I beat a majority of them, but there were some who already knew how to abuse the lag and it was just ridiculous. Full screen SA that hit even though I was blocking, impossible to aa CS, un-whiff punishable st.mk/cr mk, mashing dp cus why not. I think she is the most frustrating character to fight when your inputs are constantly being dropped.
Also, was anyone else getting fucked over by the throw ranges? There were many times when my opponent was being predictable with throws, but they would whiff right on front of me so when I went to tech mine would whiff too, and since they have more recovery in this game they were able to punish me with jab into combos. The worst part is, it wasn’t even a tactic they were trying to apply; it was literally just “oh shit it didn’t hit, lemme hit jab” and I got punished for trying to do the correct thing -__-. Throw ranges desperately need to be fixed ASAP, cus idk how long I can last if shit like that keeps happening.
Yeah the double throw whiff scenario is something people have seen often in match videos before we even got a chance to play. It’s a weird effect of the throw ranges being as short as they are and how a majority of the characters have slow walk speeds. Especially in freeze frame/rollback lag you’re probably looking at a free punish for accidentally whiffing trying to tech.
Yeah, plenty of throw and double throw whiffs. If they don’t do something about it I doubt I’ll play Bison in the final product, it just isn’t fun

Why is it that in the laggy matches the opponent always seems to be mashing their butts off! I mean it’s like I’m playing a 3 year old on the other end.
I always do the “honorable” thing and back off to wait it out, but I know a lot of players use it as a go HAM moment.
I usually back off as well but not for being “honorable”. I know for a fact if serious lag happens then I’ll be the one getting screwed over and the opponent will just mash their way to victory while I drop whatever it was I was doing at the time.
Yeah im not liking coming up to a random opponent and it starts to lag randomly. They teleport or i clearly hit them only to be in a magic combo that some how was started by them. Then we have rage quitters in a damn beta. I wish they could test a system where the beta could tell if the connection was forced off…then keep those people off.
It seems like most matches, the very first second or two is both players just pressing back/forth to feel out the lag.
I’ve also noticed that pretty much every single match starts out with a slight input delay, but after a few seconds (in a good connection) it appears the delay goes away.
Just seems odd how they are implementing this. It’s weird how sometimes you get input delay, then sometimes you get rollbacks.
Well supposedly it intelligently detects drops and “bad connections” and puts people with those connections on the same “tier” which in theory should make it so if people plug pull or drop to dashboard they will be put on that tier and only play people who do the same.
