What’s everyone’s opinions on how good the characters are? My initial thoughts atm after a little while with it -
Bison/Chun
Ryu
Nash
I think Nash is kinda weak, his tricks aren’t so “tricky” and yeah this is an old build, so it’s kinda redundant.
Well Bison is officially a character that gives me trouble, I just lost to Gagapa in a closer than expected match. He’s very solid character, one of the few with actually safe special on block. I’ve lost to a few Nash players as well, but that’s mostly due to them using online tactics and me adapting too late, those fuckers are going down once I get a little more used to the game.
I’m actually starting to enjoy getting a little bit of rest in between matches. It allows me to figure out what went wrong, on analyze how effective certain things are based on how often they worked against several different players. The command normals are still taking a little to get used to, I still sometimes forget and end up getting things I don’t want which Fucks up my momentum.
People are still mashing the hell out of jabs whenever they are in an uncomfortable position. I kinda wish we had frame data or a recordable dummy so I can figure out what works against that quicker. All in all I’m enjoying the game, and the jab thing is apparently nerfed in the newer build so that’s a positive I guess.
Oh snap, just got message “Playable characters have been updated” and now cammy and birdie are in.

Yeah and didn’t even have to disconnect to get the new characters. Very slick how it works to be honest.
Is it me or is the amount of decent players pretty low. Man keep playing newbies who can’t stop jumping.
Yeah I am surprised with the competition. You would think that people who are that into SF that they preordered the game would be a little more fundamental sound.
