As everyone expect, we’re waitnig to see the last STREET FIGHTER video game. It passed along 3 generations and we hope to see the greatest game in the whole saga, which includes all the 74 characters that appeared in the SF series.

yeah all characters with the 3s engine would rule all. It would be the game to own all games. Capcom will never give it to us though. or if they do they’ll make 27 versions of it b/f they give it to us complete. Just so they can milk us.
Basically, you’d have to make ST with all 74 characters, then SFA3 with all 74 characters, then 3S with all 74 characters. And maybe SFA2 and SF3:2I if there’s enough fans. Don’t forget to reanimate everything!
It would be cool if they implemented some of the VS features they had, like 3 vs. 3, 2 vs. 2, and other features. It would kick ass if it was in 2D since it started in 2D, It should end in 2d. It works better that way and it may give more room to add bonus stuff into it. Maybe toss a few Rival Schools characters and maybe the Final Fight characters aswell.
By the way, I only count 73, a list would help…

I just want to show everyone the list of what to expect. If you include the other side of Ace then thats 74, but thats not really 74 because it’s the same person just with a different side of fighting. Same moves i believe. Unless you include Ingrid, but she was never included in a SF game.
You can’t include the SFEX characters due to their rights being owned by Arika and not Capcom. Not only that, but including ‘boss versions’ of characters as seperate characters is stupid.
Aside from that, this will never happen. Capcom is not going to put every single fighter it has in a new fighting game; its unlikely we’ll GET a new SF game no matter how much you sit around daydreaming about it.
So just stop posting these stupid threads, because they’re stupid like that one guy who wasn’t smart. Yeah, you know who I’m talking about. Him.
If capcom actualy decide to do some “decent” work on a new title for once, with in time they could make something good out of cfe. If they made new istalments, adding more and more characters, improving the graphics, and tweaking the game system here and there, I honestly think it could go somewhere. But for now cfe’s gona have to melt in hell.

That sounds like its treading on Mugens territory. To be honest and we all know this is true. Having all the characters is worthless because at the most 10 of those characters are going to be played the other 64 will just be a pain in the ass cause lame asses will have to move there cursur over a bunch of crap characters to get to Ken, Chun, Ryu, Sagat. And do you really want to see a character select screen with that many boxes? Or how horrible the balance of gameplay would be?

The best thing would be a whole new cast of characters IMO. Mabe have a few repeats as hidden characters, but make it very tough to unlock them. I dont think a game full of all the same characters would intrest many people, me anyway. I’ld prefer to have a whole new cast with comletely new moves list to have fun with and explore. Revisiting isn’t as fun IMO.
Capcom TRIED to make an SF game without the old characters. It tested horribly due to lack of returning characters. That game was SFIII.

Nearly all the guys who made the SF2, SFAlpha and SF3 series at capcom have left AFAIK.
that is why we get stuff like CFJ - reuse old sprites and slap together an engine.
IMHO, let SNK have another go (SvC Chaos 2) but for gods sake dont rush this one, drop the Guard Cancel Front Step cheese for Just Defends / KoF style dodges and kill the infinites some characters had.
add a few more favourite characters and you have quite a good new SF game.
