ok i need to know some slang about street fighter cause yall be confuseing me with uoh mind games and many other slandering words i don’t understand so posts up words like lp, mp ,kara palm, frames and etc
lp:light punch
mp:middle punch
hp or fp:hard punch or fierce punch
lk:light kick
mk:middle kick
hk or fk:high kick or fierce kick
jab - light punch
strong - medium punch
fierce - heavy punch
short - light kick
forward - medium kick
round house - heavy kick
low - crouching
x - canceled
xx - super canceled
kara throw - normal move quickly canceled into a throw to increase throw range
If you are really new
qcf - quarter circle forward
qcb - quarter circle back
dp - dragon punch; forward, down, down/forward
hcf - half circle forward
hcb - you get it
mp/mk - I say middle punch/kick but I’ve also heard medium punch/kick. They’re both the same… the two middle column buttons on a 6 button stick.
hp/hk - I say heavy punch/kick but I’ve also heard hard punch/kick. They’re also both the same, the two right column buttons on a 6 button stick.
UOH: Universal Overhead but I’ve also heard “Leap attack”. Both are also the same thing, and they are executed by pressing mk and mp simultaneously. It breaks the block of someone doing a crouching blcok.
