Thanks for the advice aku. But I don’t know, I kinda like the dirty pixel look for some reason. Adds to the “I did this with MS PAINT” type feel?

I was thinking of something similar to that^ as new Ultra for Ryu before any S.SF4 Ultras were hinted at. I thought he needed something different so I wanted for him to do an update of his Focus Attack. Its his focus attack punch (which was called Kaze no Kobushi, “Fist of the Wind” in the Ryu Final manga) but with energy on his fist. He grabs the enemy with one hand, punches with actual energy on his fist, to the opponent’s face. Then the Ki explodes in their face.

I sent it to Seth Killian. But by then he knew the ultras and was probably thinking itd be too much like M Bisons or Dudleys.

I was thinking SF7 would be what happens between Alpha2Gold and Alpha3, but that’s a pretty nice conceptual picture. haha

I figure he would start growing out the beard while training hard with Oro. (I really imagined it as SF5 Ryu but people freak out if you make a big change too soon, so I made it SF7. ) Also I often draw Ryu with beards now cuz its part of a post-SF3 fanfic I do. He’s like a rugged mountain man so Im like why not. Better than giving him a skirt for an alternate costume.
