I have a bunch of additional vid links sorted out and ready to be added to the site.
I’m hoping to have them on the site soon.
I’m trying to get some more console character vids, and get their pages up as well.
The Tier List (http://streetfighterdojo.com/sf4/data/charactermatchup.html) and Tournament Pages (Ex. http://streetfighterdojo.com/sf4/tournament/street_fighter_4_japan_national_championship_2009.html) are both fairly new additions to the site and I’m still playing around with their formatting as time permits before I officially add em to the site. (right now I’m tinkering with a bracket system to place in the tournament pages to help make navigation on them more flexible)
Please let me know what works or doesn’t work for you content/layout-wise on those pages.
I plan to make independent sections for them at some point.
I’m still a rookie with making a website, and I’ve been stumbling with things like sitemaps, ad optimization, finding out how to track down a 404 error that is keeping Google from crawling my site, looking into how to set-up a database to handle the content, meta tags, unique titles on all pages, unique descriptions on all pages, etc.
In addition, I have many matchup pages (Ex. http://streetfighterdojo.com/sf4/matchups/gouken_vs_gen.html) that are not reachable from links on the site, but I have links to in this thread.
The reason for that is that I wanted to hold off pages for console characters on the site until I had a decent enough meal to offer.
A character page full of “No Videos” stamped over all the character portraits I felt would just aggravate people.
But at the same time, when SRK stickied this thread, I wanted to make sure to provide it with as full coverage as possible, including console character crumbs.
I also have all the video links for the rest of the ST characters, but I’ve been so tied up on 4 that I haven’t been able to make the pages for em.
But you make a good point.
I will adjust the /sf4/ page to link to the 4 tournaments and the tier data.
And I have been going over the net sorting out vids to fill up console character pages and that is coming along well.
I want to go back into the pages and adjust their titles so in Google they all don’t sound the same.

Also there was a regional showdown in Kanagawa that was supposed to be 5on5 but team size actually ranged from one (fax gimoto all by himself) to five. Three Americans teamed up I guess. Couple Kim1234 matches here.

It’s an open thread, you can post what you’d like.
If other forum members don’t like a certain post, they will likely chime in.
I actually currently have plans to add a video of Yeb (Gen) vs. Darksydephil (Blanka) because I have had trouble finding tournament footage of certain matchups and so am selecting the best quality public vids available to fill the slot.
Why would you need a Viper vs. Sakura match video? Like 5 people know what they’re doing with Sakura and fighting her isn’t a whole lot different from some of the other characters in the game. She pokes, she crosses up…I dunno maybe I just haven’t fought a good one yet but it seems like a matchup I’d be able to figure out without watching match vids.
Or maybe a Sakura player is fishing for some ideas? It goes both ways…
